Emphasizing the critical need for Quality Proof Stock components in the validation of indigenous weapon platforms and ammunition, Shri S.S.Mungse, Addl. Controller, CQA(A) visited YIL Headquarters to sign a MOU for long-term collaboration in supply of these stores.
This agreement establishes a structured framework for timely supply of essential stores required for testing and proving.

Yantra India Limited participated in the 3rd India–Kenya Defence Exhibition & Seminar, held on 19-20 January 2026, showcasing its capabilities in defence hardware manufacturing.
Hon’ble Ms. Soipan Tuya, Cabinet Secretary (Defence), @SoipanTuya Government of Kenya along with H.E. Dr.Adarsh Swaika, High commissioner of India, Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (Defence Production), Ministry of Defence, Government of India and other high ranking officials from the Kenyan Defence forces visited the YIL stall.
On this occasion, Shri Vijaykumar Iyer, Director (Operations) & CMD (Additional Charge), YIL, presented a memento to Hon’ble Ms. Soipan Tuya, CS(Def), Government of Kenya.

The 3rd India–Kenya Defence Exhibition & Seminar was held on 19 Jan 2026, underscoring the growing depth of India–Kenya defence cooperation. Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (Defence Production) led the #MoD, Govt. Of India delegation and delivered a Special Address highlighting the capabilities of Indian defence industries and urged Kenya Defence Force to explore opportunities with companies in Indian defence industry ecosystem. 21 Indian defence companies showcased their capabilities and specialised #defenceproduct profile.

🔹Hon'ble Ms Soipan Tuya, Cabinet Secretary Defence (Minister), Govt. Of Kenya graced the event as Chief Guest and delivered the Keynote Address highlighting foundation laid by previous two such events in Nov 22 and Jan 24. She acknowledged the diverse Indian defence companies present in the event and emphasised on co-development and system integration.
