Player Development. It’s not just practice.

[Marty Smith @GoCFBaseball]

1/ Thread...A few thoughts on Player Development and what we have done at College of Central Florida. The term "Player Development" is sometimes taken for granted and just shrugged off as "coach speak" without the meaning of what exactly you are doing when it comes to PD...

[David Houtz @dahooter]

It’s been a pleasure to have a front row seat to see Balint’s skyrocketing maturity both on and off the field. A joy to coach and a great teammate.

[Marty Smith @GoCFBaseball]

Balint is absolutely crushing baseballs this fall...as he did last spring. Great student, great kid...will leave here a legend...just like he has everywhere that he has played.

I built Magna with @mase2314 who I met as a result of playing with @GoCFBaseball in 2020!

It's a detailed holistic approach to player development.

Excited to share more on this platform.

With all the back and forth about the Older players on social media I decided to make a long form response. If you have time to hear me out I would appreciate it.

There were 286 Nobel Peace Prize candidates who didn’t win yesterday.

Only one of them is acting like a pedantic child about it today. Think about that and how pathetic that is.

[Marty Smith @GoCFBaseball]

Cool

[Maury Brown @BizballMaury]

This is outstanding.
