🚍 The City of Columbia has electric buses in its transit fleet! These buses provide a cleaner, quieter ride while helping reduce emissions and improve air quality for the community. 🌿
🔋 What makes these buses a big deal?
• Fast charging: fully charged in about 3 hours
• Extended range: up to 30% more driving distance
• More capacity: increased seating for riders
• Better experience: quieter, smoother rides with zero tailpipe emissions
🌿 These upgrades support the City’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP), helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality, and create a healthier community for everyone.
Every electric bus added to the fleet means less pollution, lower fuel costs, and a more sustainable transit system for Columbia. 🚏💚
