@charlieo_conn The silver lining is I'd the injury has been limiting him these last 2 years, then there may yet be a higher ceiling that he can achieve. Not going to lie, this pick has been the most questionable decision in the Briera.
@KKurzNHL Shit like this makes the NHL seem like a second tier league. Toronto can leverage who to give the pick to, potentially extracting concessions from Flyers and Bruins. Not how the rules are intended to be applied.
@JacksonHockey_ TBH I don't hold animosity towards any of these guys. If anything, I hate the Flyers for what they did to Ghost. Torts is a good coach, but not a good match for this rebuilding team. Rod is a Flyers legend. Walker netted us a 1st rounder. Zero animosity.
@FlyersNation It's amazingly clear that the problem with the flyers over the years has to do with talent evaluation and player development. The pointless coaching carousel and former players succeeding elsewhere prove that.
@JameyBaskow McCain was the worst decision because there is no reason for it and it was no upside and nonsensical. With Bob, he was undrafted free agent, no clue he was going to be the HOFer that he became. So more forgiveable.
@JHallNBCS He's a very good poker player. Does not want to appear desperate and put himself in a weakened position when negotiating trades, etc. But I hope he is aware of the glaring need to bring in help for the power play and down the middle.
@AdamRackis Lets suppose you have a group of friends, fun loving, kind, but probably not the sharpest knives in the drawer. You just know, absolutely know that some of them are going to choose blue. Isn't there just a fraction of you who wants to choose blue to up their chance of survival?
@Raiderfrank65 Let's pump the breaks. The truth is always in the middle. They did great with Martone pick. Jury's still out on Luchanko, Nesbitt. Team playing really well right now, let's enjoy the ride
@LinkofSunshine Need to clarify what you mean by accuracy. Sensitivity, specificity of the test? But yes, taking into account prevalence of a disease, particularly rare diseases, is not always considered.
