President Trump is exactly right.
College sports are at a breaking point. The chaos must end. Our bill, the Protect College Sports Act, establishes clear national rules for college athletics, protects student-athletes, and preserves the historic rivalries that make college sports special.
It was an honor to join the @WhiteHouse roundtable earlier this year and hear directly about the challenges facing college sports. Those conversations reinforced the urgent need for action.
We’re going to get this bill across the finish line. @POTUS
In an appeal filed today to the NCAA to reinstate Brendan Sorsby's eligibility, Texas Tech recommends that the association suspend the QB two games.
If the NCAA pursues the max penalty, "future athletes will be disincentivized from seeking the help they desperately need."
In a filing today, the NCAA requests the judge in Monday’s hearing to deny Brendan Sorsby’s eligibility as it would have “destabilizing ramifications” by making NCAA “the first and only major sports league in America to allow an athlete to compete after betting on his own games.”
If this kid is allowed to play, it’s just another example on how fucked the sport has become. It’s almost unwatchable now with all the BS that’s involved.
Docs: Brendan Sorsby placed at least 40 bets involving Indiana football as a quarterback for the Hoosiers, used sportsbook accounts registered to a family member and friends to wager approximately $90,000 over four years, and continued to gamble after transferring from Cincinnati to Texas Tech in December.

NEW: Indiana's Curt Cignetti says College Football is in danger if something doesn't change soon:
“The market is pretty expensive — it’s scary. It’s scary. I think players should get paid. But something’s going to have to be done in the next 12 to 24 months, or universities might not be able to handle this. College football won’t exist the way we’re going right now.”

Jon Sumrall on CFB's insane calendar:
"We do all of it (postseason games, coaching changes, roster retention/free agency) at once."
"You want to talk about feeling like you've been drinking.
"That's like mixing tequila, bourbon and beer - all at the same time."
😂
"To me, 24 would be the equivalent of giving everybody a participation trophy, and I don't think college football needs that."
@ESPNBooger reacts to the Big Ten wanting a 24-team CFP 🏆
Petitti said the Big Ten would agree to a 16-team CFP if the SEC played 9 league games.
The SEC did. Pettiti moved the goalposts and refused to match the SEC’s rule on playing 10 P4 teams.
He’s fighting a proxy war on Fox’s behalf. Nothing he says should be taken seriously.
It happened again.
An 11-year-old threw more than 160 pitches over a weekend because adults decided winning mattered more than arm care.
#Youth baseball has a responsibility to protect kids — not sacrifice their future for Sunday trophies.

The people have spoken. We miss the red roofs. We miss the red cups. We miss the salad bar. We miss when Pizza Hut felt like an experience.
If you'd support bringing back an ORIGINAL Pizza Hut in your town, repost this, tag Pizza Hut, and comment your city below.
Let's show them how many people still want the real thing.
