The Puppy and the Piece of Bread 🐶🍞
Gunnar was only seven weeks old when he was left all alone. Animal control had taken his mother and littermates, but accidentally forgot about him. For an entire week, he survived outside in the cold, hungry and alone, with nothing but a single piece of bread to hold onto.
When the rescue team arrived, they witnessed a moment that touched everyone's heart. Despite being weak, underweight, and frightened, Gunnar greeted them with a wagging tail. Carrying a piece of bread almost as big as his little body, he seemed eager to share it with the strangers who had just appeared.
After being rescued, Gunnar was treated for anemia, a severe tick infestation, and several other health problems. With proper care and plenty of love, he gradually regained his strength. Before long, he found a forever home and began a warm, happy new life.
Today, Gunnar is healthy, playful, and full of joy. His generous spirit has never changed. Instead of offering bread, he now loves bringing his owners beautiful little stones as special gifts. ❤️🐾
💧 PLEASE LEAVE WATER OUT FOR OUR WILDLIFE 💧
As the warmer weather continues, even something as simple as a shallow bowl of clean water can make a huge difference to our local wildlife.
Birds, Hedgehogs, Foxes, Bees, Butterflies and many other animals struggle to find safe water sources during dry and hot periods — especially in built-up areas where ponds, ditches and natural puddles are disappearing.
A few simple facts:
• Birds need water not just for drinking, but also to keep their feathers clean and healthy.
• Hedgehogs can become dehydrated very quickly in warm weather.
• Bees and pollinators use water to help cool their hives and survive hotter temperatures.
• Foxes, Squirrels and even Bats will often visit gardens at night looking for water.
• A shallow dish with stones or pebbles helps insects land safely without drowning.
What you can do: ✔ Leave out a shallow bowl of fresh water
✔ Change the water daily
✔ Add pebbles or stones for insects and bees
✔ Keep bowls low to the ground for Hedgehogs and Foxes.
✔ Place water somewhere shaded if possible.
Even the smallest action can help support the wildlife around us 🦔 🦊 🐦⬛ 🐝
Residents supporting residents… and wildlife too. ❤️
This kind man carries water to two thirsty Dogs that live in an area of overwhelming heat.
The Dogs' happiness and excitement are worth watching.
Happiness and kindness are simple wills and so easily given. ❤️
“Jesus” just confronted Pamplona’s bloodiest tradition.
Ahead of the Running of the Bulls, animal defenders urged the Catholic Church to cut ties with bullfighting.
Bulls are chased through the streets, then killed later that day.
Bullfighting is a sin.
🚨 INCREDIBLE!
This patriot pilot just formed **"USA 250"** and the perfect shape of the United States of America in the skies over Ohio using his Cessna aircraft!
It took him **6 hours and 11 minutes** of precision flying.
This is next-level patriotism.
Bravo sir! 👏🏻🇺🇸✈️
Happy 250th, America!
How many horses have to die before carriages are banned?! 😡
Deniz collapsed & died right in NYC's Central Park in front of parkgoers trying to enjoy their summer evening.
City Council NEEDS to take this as a sign to pass Ryder's Law, which would protect horses & ban carriages.
