Same as Pats fans saying they wouldn’t trade a 1 for Brown.
This deal is good for both teams, don’t think it’s unfair at all for either side

For the Pats to get Brown on a reasonable contract for 27-28 is well worth a 1st plus more. Maye is cheap and young, time is now

2028 1st rounder
2027 3rd that can become a 2 if Brown hits a certain incentive.
Pats keep their 2027 1 (which I’d be stunned if they gave up), while Philly gets back a 1 and assets in 2027.

See if Shedeur is actually good (likely not), take a good QB in R1 in ‘27.
The pieces are mostly there already for a QB, much better than previous roster building plans
