#Snow falls near Split Rock on #GrandfatherMtn during the early hours of Dec. 7. While wind makes it difficult to accurately measure snowfall, temperatures continued to drop through morning. By noon, temps had fallen to 24.4° F, wind chill of 8.7°.

With over 14,000 acres, Stone Mountain State Park is considered to be in the top 3 largest state parks in North Carolina. The park has over 20 miles of designated trout streams. This is just one of the #waterfalls you can find exploring Stone Mountain State Park.
