Thank you, @RealJeffZENGER, for supporting meaningful regulatory reform that reigns bureaucratic overreach by prioritizing the rule of law, and championing affordable housing policies that increase supply and protect private property rights.
The next generation will always be a priority of mine. That’s why I sponsored House Bill 301 to ban social media for minors under 14, protecting our children from the documented harms of these platforms.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13 🇺🇸
This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men & women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. May we never forget those who gave everything for America.
#TBT to one of the most unique projects I’ve been part of, helping move the historic Nissen House here in Lewisville.
As a builder, I’ve always believed in protecting the places & stories that shape our community. Proud to have played a role in preserving a piece of history.
North Carolina families are already paying enough. That’s why I’m proud to co-sponsor legislation to make prescription drugs more affordable. Excited to see it moving through committee today!
Thank God for Moms! The sacrifices they make, the burdens they carry, and the way they hold families together through every season of life... I’m especially thankful for my wife whose strength, faith, and love makes our family better every single day. Happy Mother’s Day!
Thank you, Rep. Jeff Zenger, for stepping up to support H.B. 1083 — the Voluntary Portable Benefits Plan Act.
North Carolina workers deserve flexibility and opportunity, and this bill helps move our state forward.
We appreciate your leadership. @RealJeffZENGER
On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the empty tomb, the fulfillment of God’s promise, and the hope we have in Christ. Wishing you and your family a blessed and joyful Easter. 🙏
I held up a letter in committee from a 72-year-old woman whose property taxes have gone up 146%.
She’s paid off her home… and now she may not be able to afford to stay in it. That’s wrong. It’s time we stop runaway tax hikes and put taxpayers first.

Parents are doing their best to navigate a digital world that didn’t exist when many of us were kids. That’s why I designed legislation to protect children from the harmful effects of social media.
In NC, we put the well-being of our children above tech company profits.
Property taxes are skyrocketing. It's not sustainable, and it’s not fair.
I’m fighting to protect taxpayers and bring accountability back.

North Carolinians, especially those on fixed incomes, are being taxed out of their homes. It is our responsibility as lawmakers to propose actual solutions,
rather than punt this issue on to the next generation.

Representative Mike Clampitt was a dedicated public servant for Western NC—firefighter, legislator, and advocate for his mountain communities.
Rest in peace, Representative Clampitt.
Affordability is on everyone’s minds. Most Americans greatest expense is their home. Property tax reform will keep tax bills in check, providing relief to homeowners and renters alike. Thank you @RealJeffZENGER! #ncpol
Property taxes are out of control.
Families are getting ripped off as counties like Wake and Cabarrus rake in billions more than inflation and population growth warrant.
It’s time for REAL reform. Levy limits will stop runaway property tax hikes and protect NC taxpayers.
I’m very sad to hear that the Democrat establishment was successful in their work to defeat my friend Rep. Shelly Willingham (pictured here) this past Democrat primary election. Shelly is a true Democrat, but also thinks for himself and votes in the best interest of his constituents. I guess the handful of votes that the Democrat Party bosses didn’t like out of the many hundreds if not a thousand+ votes he has taken in his time as a legislator was too much for them. They had to take him out.
Same thing with Rep. Carla Cunningham. Carla is one of the smartest members of the Democrat House caucus. She has walked the walk in her life, and brought that experience and wisdom to bear on hard issues at the legislature. I think politicians who have a true heart for people is rare to find these days, and the Democrat establishment just got rid of two of them - because they didn’t 100% of the time put the party over the people.
NC would be better off with them at the table. Their constituents too. Too bad. #ncpol
Service isn’t about speeches — it’s about results.
That’s why I’ve invested in public safety, improving infrastructure, and protecting places families value.
Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools remains far from having healthy budgeting practices in place. Approximately $15 million in expenditures were not properly recorded for months, and the school system yet again failed to complete monthly reconciliations.
This is one of the largest school districts in North Carolina. The additional findings of financial misconduct the team uncovered in our follow-up show a failure to keep their books straight. Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools owes parents, teachers, and students accountability.
