And thanks to @sana_pashankar for the write up on our funding news today
Last week, Eric Romo, Impulse's President & COO joined leaders from across industry at @payloadspace x @tectonicdefense's Inside the Dome event in Washington, D.C. to discuss what it takes to build operational orbital security architectures under Golden Dome.
As next-generation space security systems move toward deployment, success will depend on commercially developed technologies that can be tested, manufactured, and deployed affordably and at scale.
Impulse is building the in-space mobility and operational capabilities required to make those systems possible.
The true space age is within reach... And that’s what we’re here for: to make those possibilities real.” – @lrocket, Founder & CEO
Tom discusses his journey from building amateur rockets, to leading propulsion at SpaceX and founding Impulse Space in a new Q&A with @dfjgrowth.

"The Golden Dome program requires advanced solutions, which is where Impulse excels. Not only has our team proven its capability to do hard things quickly, but our spacecraft have too. We're excited to work on missions that are technically challenging and globally meaningful, and Golden Dome is both." – Eric Romo, President & COO
Impulse knows how to execute high-priority missions. We’re proud to partner with @anduriltech on the Golden Dome initiative.

Meet Rigel, our new 200 lbf class engine designed to power the layer between precision maneuvering and high-energy transport.
Rigel combines deep throttleability, unlimited restarts, and long duration burns to deliver the missions defining the future of space operations:
✔️Landers
✔️ Rendezvous & proximity ops (RPO)
✔️ High delta-v maneuvers
✔️ Multi-phase missions
From Earth orbits to lunar exploration, Rigel fires when reliability is not optional.

Andy Mack, Lead Test Engineer in Mojave, explains the impact of owning every aspect of the test facility – from fluid, electrical, and data systems, to design, build and test. And how flight doesn't stop on the weekends: https://t.co/kA8pd0jDoS
If you want to move through space fast you strap a rocket engine onto something. That’s exactly what we’re doing here.” — @lrocket, Founder & CEO
Helios is the kick stage bringing same-day delivery to space.
Riding as a payload in a medium-lift launch vehicle, Helios deploys in LEO then transports cargo to GEO in the span of a single workday.
Helios is purpose-built to deliver unprecedented access to high-energy orbits — eliminating the need for a heavy-lift launch or a multi-month electric propulsion orbit raise.
Space access will never be the same: https://t.co/gJx4T55aBp
“We’re building software that directly shapes the mission’s success.”
We sat down with Atta Kashmiri, Spacecraft Software Manager at Impulse, to break down what it’s like to develop the tools, infrastructure, and flight-critical systems that keep the Mira and Helios programs moving forward – and how it feels to get your hands on real flight hardware.

Say hello to the Deneb engine.
Our team continues to check off milestones and make rapid progress in development. We are now into mainstage engine testing and are rapidly iterating on hardware and software toward a flight-ready system.
If you want to build bad a** engines – apply on our website.
On LEO Express 2, Mira recently completed the longest on-orbit burn in program history at 223 seconds.
We performed the maneuver to adjust orbital parameters in preparation for future capability demonstrations.
Inclination changes require big delta-v. They allow us to shift planes, set up new geometries, and expand what this vehicle can support on orbit.
Lining up what comes next.
A sustained presence on the Moon depends on delivering infrastructure to the surface at cadence.
@NASAAdmin’s phased approach calls for regular cargo, surface systems, and scalable logistics. That means delivering rovers, power systems, communications, and habitation modules to the lunar surface.
Our approach combines our Helios kick stage with an Impulse-built lander to deliver multiple tons of cargo per mission. Helios transports the lander from LEO to lunar orbit, enabling delivery to the surface without in-space refueling.
A repeatable architecture aligned with how lunar operations scale.

Impulse Space has been named one of @FastCompany's Most Innovative Companies of 2026.
This recognition is a testament to our engineers, technicians, and operators who are turning ambitious ideas into on orbit space mobility solutions.
There’s tremendous momentum across our factories and test sites. More vehicles in production, more missions ahead, and more hard problems to solve.

We’ve opened a new 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility outside Boulder, Colorado.
The site expands Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) development for Mira and Helios. And, it adds multi-axis CNC and precision mill-turn machining for propulsion hardware, including valves used during orbital burns.
And we’re growing our team in the region.
