@AlbertaBogieman@BrockWHarrison You may want to Google that. Edmonton treated water loss 5%, Calgary well over 20%. A flash storm in an area doesn't mean infrastructure failing. Troll
@JasonGregor@corkscrew49 The point is that it's inconsistent rules. Newer owners in southern US "growth areas" seem to get different rules than other teams. A 7 year old child is NOT an employee - also found that via a 30 second Google search.
@Deezy861@DailyFaceoff I like it. Definitely leveraging the money. Plus sets tone for future, rather than having a lineup full of $15MM plus RFAs, with limited accomplishments.
@TheMugNHL@puckempire My info had another piece - Zadorov and Korpisalo ($9MM). for Nurse. Nurse retained, then young player / prospect to fill in from Oilers. That trade sounded a bit intriguing. I think they did better with SJ and other pieces. Thoughts.
@rwrandall Remember one station where announcer left mike down low but not off. Read news every 30 min from workstation. Boss phoned to tell him mike hot...announcer went "oh shit..." on air before quickly turning mike off. Was on for almost 10 min. Made the blooper tape for that year.
@AzorcanGlobal Two different styles, so tough to say one better than other, as they play different roles. Murphy way better at SH and defence. Kuluk better at transition and puck moving.
@TheBreakdownAB Isn't Cowboys owned by Paul Vickers, infamous Edmonton party hound of the 80s/90s - Barry Ts, Club Malibu all versions? Also well connected with UCP? Poor ticket sales somehow turned into City of Calgary beating up on apoor festival owner?
@dhockey13 If you play NHL25 GM, yes it easy to move money. But there are way more factors. How do you magically free up cap? And is defence a priority? Can't have 2 of top 5 players in the world, then expect to have huge salary cap to play with. Think about all not just 1 piece.
