The kindergarten kids in the Hasan School by The Sameer Project graduated ๐

A fun day full of music, dance and celebration of the 35 graduates brought smiles to everyoneโs faces. These little ones spent half their lives in a genocide they donโt understand.
The Hasan School provides education for 750 students in Central Gaza. This wouldnโt be possible without your generosity and support.

The children of the genocide: young eyes that have witnessed horrors no child should ever have to see. Support here: https://t.co/dT6xhwzZFU. They have endured fear, loss, displacement, and been denied the most basic rights to safety, education, play, and a life of dignity. And yet here the children in The Sameer Projectโs Hasan School still sing with all their love and joy: โYa Gaza NuwaraโโฆGaza, youโre blooming.
Because love for oneโs land cannot be erased. Belonging cannot be destroyed by genocide, and no occupation can uproot a people whose roots have grown deep in their land for generations.
These children have the right to simply be children to learn, play, dream without fear, and grow up safely and with dignity in their own homeland. Their earliest memories should never have been filled with the sounds of bombs and the pain of loss.
No matter how hard they try to destroy Gaza or erase it, Gaza will always remain a flower in the eyes and hearts of its people.
We remain. Our roots in this land are stronger than any occupationโs destruction.

Remaining on the land despite unimaginable hardship.
Raising children on this land, and one day be laid to rest in its soil.
Believing that Palestine is worth everything.
Sumud, or steadfastness, is not simply enduring suffering. It is preserving identity, community, and an enduring bond with the place generations have called home. Itโs being one as a Palestinian with Palestine.
May Palestine know liberation. May our people live with dignity and
safety on our homeland. May Palestine be free.

Traditional Palestinian dishes from Gaza have a little kick to them.
Give to Gaza: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
That heat often comes from fresh green peppers, grown in Gaza's own fertile soil. For generations, farmers cultivated the land with care, passing down agricultural knowledge and recipes from one generation to the next. Every harvest carried the taste of home. The ground tilled by Palestinian hands, the crops picked with love from those that are born from the area.
These rows of green fields are only a small reminder of what once stretched across much of Gaza. The northern areas and the far south were known for their rich agricultural land, tended by Palestinians with love, patience, and deep respect for the earth.
Food is more than nourishment. It is memory. It is identity. It is culture rooted in where we come from.
Inshallah, Gaza's fields will flourish again. The orchards, the vegetables, the peppers that give every dish its familiar warmth will return. And the land will once again provide for the Palestinian families who have cared for it for generations.
Until then, help The Sameer Project stand with Gaza. Stand with Palestinians, until liberation is won. Support our General Fund to show your solidarity: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU

Bread has become the main meal for countless families in Gaza as community kitchens continue to close and food grows harder to find. Support here: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
For so many, a piece of fresh bread is all that stands between hunger and slightly filling oneโs stomach to get through another day.
For less than even $1,000, you can help The Sameer Project bake and distribute free fresh bread to hundreds of families, reaching thousands of people with one of life's most basic necessities, daily.
A loaf of bread may seem small, basic - it is. But in Gaza it means survival for the day.
Each bundle is around $2. Can you give that today? Donate to our Food and Water link: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX

The anger is palpable. The frustration is impossible to hide.
Urgent support needed: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
How would you feel if every aspect of your survival depended on decisions made by people far away? If you had no freedom of movement. No control over whether food, water, or medicine reached your family. No ability to work, rebuild, or provide for yourself. No personal agency.
Imagine watching the institutions that were created to protect human life scale back their presence just as your need became greater. Acquiescing to your very oppressor. Imagine feeling forgotten while the world moves on.
Families in Gaza are not asking for anything past an opportunity. They are asking for the chance to survive with dignity. Until that day comes, solidarity cannot disappear when the headlines do.
Your support allows The Sameer Project to keep delivering food, clean water, medical care, transportation, and hope to communities that feel - that have been - abandoned.

Near the yellow-line, where many organizations cannot or do not reach, The Sameer Project continues to deliver water to families who have nowhere else to turn. Every truck, every delivery, every container filled is possible because of YOU.
It really is that simple: you donate, and we provide water that keeps families alive.

Who do you turn to when someone you love needs help, but there is nowhere to go? We all must have a situation in our livesโ where we are looking for answers, looking for support.
For many families in Gaza, that question has no answer.
Help now: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
This family is caring for a son with Down syndrome whose development has regressed since the beginning of the genocide. The trauma, displacement, lack of specialized care, and constant uncertainty have changed every part of his life. His family feels alone, forgotten, and without the support or guidance every parent deserves.
We wish we could do more for Gaza's most vulnerable. Every day we meet children who need therapy, medical care, nutrition, and stability - needs that far exceed our resources. But because of your monetary solidarity, we can at least do something. We can show up. We can bring a meal. The bare minimum so they do not feel forgotten.
On July 7, The Sameer Project provided 392 rice with chicken meals to families at Ansar Camp 4 in North Gaza. At a total cost of $1,008 after 11% banking fee commission, these meals brought nourishment and a small measure of relief to families carrying unimaginable burdens.
Thank you for helping us reach those who feel they have no one else to turn to. Our community is showing them they are not alone. Continue to give for Food and Water: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX

We have to do better!!!
LOOK!!! Look at these kids! The world must do better!!
Help Gaza now: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
For just a few moments, these children laugh as they cool themselves with the last drops from a water truck. Childhood should be filled with moments of innocence, of bliss, not defined by thirst, displacement, and survival.
They deserve so much more than a few seconds of relief. They deserve clean water whenever they need it, safe surroundings, and the freedom to simply be children. To live!!
The world can, and must, do better.

Only in Gaza can the recovery of a loved one's remains be described as a gift. A gift because it brings an end to the pain of searching. The searching for the tens of thousands that still remain under the rubble.
Only in Gaza are entire families erased in an instant. Only in Gaza do parents, children, and grandparents vanish beneath the dust and debris of their former lives.
No one should have to measure hope by whether they can recover the remains of someone they love. No one should have to live with the uncertainty of never knowing where a mother, father, sister, or child came to rest.
There are no words that can fully capture this kind of loss.
We invite you to read our latest article on The Sameer Project's Substack: https://t.co/HVv8d6JHgH. It explores what closure means when even the most basic act of mourning becomes a privilege. It is difficult to read - but it is a reality that deserves to be witnessed.
Existing as a Palestinian is an act of resistance.
Give to Gaza now: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1
Every new day. Every family that remains. Every child who laughs. Every person who refuses to disappear despite everything that has been inflicted upon them is living proof that the occupation has not succeeded in breaking the human spirit, they have not succeeded in erasing the Palestinian identity.
Here, these are wounded survivors. Many have lost limbs. Many carry injuries that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Yet they are smiling, laughing, feeling the sea breeze on Gaza's shore. In these moments, joy itself becomes an act of defiance.
On July 12, The Sameer Project, in cooperation with Hamad Hospital, organized a recreational day at Gaza's beach for injured survivors of the genocide. For $923 after 11% banking fees, we provided transportation from the hospital, freshly prepared meals from The Sameer Project kitchen, fruit, refreshments, music, and entertainment. For a few precious hours, they were able to reclaim something the occupation tries so hard to take away: their humanity.
Healing, recovery, is more than medical care in a hospital. It is creating moments where people are reminded that they are still can experience joy, dignity, and life.

Listen to the voices of Palestinians in Gaza struggling to find enough water to bring home to their families.
Yes, their resilience is extraordinary, but resilience does not quench thirst. Donations do. Water trucks do. Community support does. Itโs simple: Gaza needs more water. Help now: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
There comes a point when admiration must become action. When bearing witness must become solidarity. When thoughts and prayers are just not enough.
Help by allowing The Sameer Project to bring more water to more areasโฆ
More access points.
More trucks.
More volume.
More families helped.
We can achieve this through water production in our desalination plant and purchases of purified water from other stations for delivery. We have the team, we have the infrastructure, we need the funding.

This mother lost her three adult sons. She holds in her the grief that never leaves while still searching for food, water, medicine, and the strength to survive another day. She alone also cares for her blind and mute husband, carrying the weight of both unimaginable loss and daily survival. There is no time to stop and grieve when survival itself demands everything from you.
The Sameer Project supports these vulnerable families, those that have no one else to rely on.

This woman cares not only for her elderly mother, but also for her two siblings living with congenital disabilities. While surviving displacement, hunger, unbearable heat, scarce water, and almost no access to medical care, she continues to put their needs before her own. May Allah bless her for the love, patience, and dignity with which she cares for her family.
One of her adult siblings, Jabr, has lived with quadriplegia since birth.
These are the families The Sameer Project gladly reaches. The ones who have no other social service, organization, relief group, to turn to.

This is a strategic, manmade, political, and military crisis that forces families to spend hours each day, each night, searching for the most basic necessity for life. Every heavy container carried home, every kilometer walked under the sun, every drop rationed, is part of that reality.
Listen here, you hear the gasps for air, you hear the shortness of breath, you hear the exhaustion of those fetching water for their families to survive.

Temperatures are so high in Gaza and just one shekel ($0.35) for a cold drink or ice cream is not accessible for all, especially in the far North. Your support is allowing us to provide this treat in different parts of North Gaza but we need your help to do more.
