@ApolloAmong Thanks and no problem it's something that took a bit for me to pick up on as well but this movie only get better the more thought I put into it which IMO is a sign that it's a fantastic movie even if I'm not someone that "likes" horror movies (I stress out VERY easily)

While I do agree in concept the execution of Captain Clark makes the Backrooms even better

Obviously the design is incredible but what the monster represents brings everything together

It represents blame
As the Therapist says he blames everyone but himself (1/2)

And thats exactly what bothered me about Backrooms, something whose original horror stems from never seeing any sharks

So when it finally shows up and kills Clark it shows he finally blames himself

And as it chases her it whines in cries
Even as it attacks it acts like a victim

Captain Clark so much does in such a short amount of time I can’t agree that actually seeing them hurts the movie
