That’s not a typo. $134 quadrillion. Her official campaign claims the U.S. government is liable as successor to pre-Civil War structures.

For scale: U.S. national debt is ~$39 trillion. This fantasy payout is over 3,400 times larger — dwarfing the GDP of every nation on Earth combined.
No reparations bill has ever passed the Senate. H.R. 40 (just a “study”) has been reintroduced for 30+ years with zero full floor vote.

This is economic insanity and divisive grievance politics. America paid a horrific price in the Civil War to end slavery. We must reject race-based wealth transfers that punish current taxpayers for sins of the distant past.
