In my lifetime, China lifted 850 million people out of poverty, while the US created one trillionaire. It is clear as day that socialism is the key to our future.
@yuenpauwoo Agreed
Canada and Canadians it the past would not allow all the atrocities happening in the middle east to go unchallenged. By not condemning we are complacent and therefore accomplices to this evil
@yuenpauwoo Good questions. Canada should take as an example Spain a country that has been condemning the Israeli gov for a while now. They aren’t waiting for other countries to join them. Do the morally right thing and break agreements, sanction the country committing these horrific crimes.
@georgettelegal@yuenpauwoo It's too bad that his son was such a weakling, but it doesn't explain Carney's pro-Israel genuflection. North America's problem is that all of our leaders (both private and public) have been bought (1 way or another) by the Israel lobby.
The main reason why U.S. and Canadian leaders hesitate to openly oppose the Gaza and other massacres is fear of electoral backlash. In his Memoirs, former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau recounted that in 1978, Menachem Begin warned he would tell Toronto voters that Trudeau did not support Israel—but Trudeau said he refused to be intimidated and turned him down flat.
Why has Canada found it so difficult to move beyond statements in response to grave violations of international humanitarian law in Gaza?
At the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, former Canadian Ambassador to Israel, Jon Allen, offered his assessment.
🚨 ISRAELI SETTLERS BURN PALESTINIAN VILLAGES IN REVENGE FOR TRUMP-IRAN PEACE DEAL.
Israeli settlers just torched multiple villages in the West Bank.
This is how they act when diplomacy and peace threatens their blood-thirst wars.
Hard for me to exaggerate the intensity of the wails and the gnashing of teeth from Israeli "ideologues", from the hard right to the center left, who cannot believe "Trump's betrayal". It is impossible for Israelis to think of their actions as having consequences.
Signing this deal may be the most sensible thing Trump has ever done. Israel is an unwelcome albatross around his neck. He has never been in thrall to Israel and zionism. He has found Netanyahu to be a disrespectful destabilizer, an agent of harm to Trump's interest. Trump may change his mind every hour but that is part of the power dynamic of bullies. I do believe his mind is now made up.
There is no telling what horrors will come to pass in Lebanon and in Gaza as Israel is allowed to continue its genocide and ethnic cleansing. Still, on one front a taboo has been unthinkably breached. Israel has been told off. Israel has been called out. This might be for all the wrong reasons. It doesn't matter one bit.
You've heard it here countless times. Israel is corrupt and hollow. It is weak. Israel cannot go it alone (I wish I could translate the anguished cries of a few settler ideologues about the response we must be preparing, a response to shake up the world), Israel's gaslighting should and can be stopped. It is not inevitable. Israel must be brought to justice but Israel can and should be ridiculed mercilessly. Israel is the globe' s current hub of evil. Evil can also be pathetic.
@BTnewsroom You won't see this on any evening news anywhere. They do not want anyone paying attention to those who do not support a genocide of babies children women elderly in Gaza or in Lebanon. They persecute anyone who exposes this impostor Nation State Israhell‼️🖕🧃
@BTnewsroom “Today you form part of the Resistance Front and, under the brutal pressure of your government, which openly defends the ruthless Zionist usurping regime, you have begun an honorable struggle.”

This is the only best way to develop and create pressure on the world community for raising against Israel's brutal activities, killings rappings and murderous policies of genocide and land grabbing for stopping Israel and achievements for justice and peace for Palestinians and Lebanese.
The bold and courageous protesters on this great occasion are highly appreciated.
BREAKING: Stanford University graduates staged a walkout during Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s keynote address at commencement Sunday.
The walkout was organized by Students for Justice in Palestine and No Tech for Apartheid as a protest against Google’s contracts with the IDF, Dept. of Homeland Security, and ICE.
The number everyone quotes is 500 million learners, but the bigger legacy might be everyone it gave permission to. Before OCW, sharing your curriculum felt reckless. After it, it felt normal. Dozens of universities followed. The real impact isn't just who learned from MIT, it's how many institutions stopped guarding the gate.
Twenty-five years ago, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology made a bold move that most universities would never dare.
Instead of locking its world-class course materials behind campus walls, MIT decided to put nearly its entire curriculum online, completely free for anyone with an internet connection.
That decision gave birth to MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW).
What began as a bold experiment in 2001 has become one of the most significant educational initiatives in history.
Today, OCW provides materials from more than 2,500 undergraduate and graduate courses across virtually every discipline: physics, engineering, artificial intelligence, economics, biology, mathematics, computer science, and many more.
Anyone can access lecture notes, problem sets, exams, syllabi, and a growing library of video lectures, with no tuition, no application, and no account required.
According to MIT, more than 500 million people worldwide have used these resources over the past 25 years.
The impact has been profound. Students use it to ace exams, explore new fields, and launch careers. Educators around the globe integrate the materials into their own teaching. Many learners credit OCW with helping them pass professional certifications and unlock new opportunities.
Beyond its direct benefits, OpenCourseWare helped spark the global open education movement, inspiring dozens of other universities to share their knowledge freely online.
Even more impressive: the project was originally planned as a 10-year initiative. A quarter-century later, it's still expanding.
MIT now aims to reach 1 billion learners in the coming decade, while enhancing the experience with powerful new AI-powered learning tools.
Netanyahu will break this peace between the USA and Iran within the next few days and nobody will blame Israel but act like Iran has done something wrong.
Everyone knows this is going to happen.
