@theNFLchick@JasonLaCanfora But increasing their salaries would actually attract more talent to Congress. Less loonies like Boebert. Trading individual stocks is ripe for insider trading. Johnson is all but admitting insider trading here, as no one should be buying stocks “to feed their family.”
@theNFLchick@JasonLaCanfora Rank and file members of Congress are making $175k a year, which has been their salary since 2009. Their salary should have tracked inflation; they should be making $220k now. I’m fine with them making $220k or more bc they need to live in DC and in their hometown.
