This Season, there’s a brand-new flavour in the Canucks’ locker room.
Ice cold? Check. Satisfying? Oh yes. Unmistakably BC? You better believe it. Max Sasson and Luke Schenn brought in the experts to make sure it’s ready for action.

What sets Novotny apart from some of his peers is the speed and power in his game. He plays a high-tempo north-south game that should directly translate to the NHL #Canucks

AI really is not that useful. Like all it's good at is a few work applications.
It's only really good at excel, spreadsheets, coding, design, animation, engineering, robotics, math, science, law, contract review, medical development, marketing, note-taking, taxes, accounting, shopping, financial preperation, inventory, reconciliation, etc.
So I don't get the big deal with AI, it's only good at that type of stuff.
For the average folk that just wants to go home and sit on the TV, what do they even need AI for.
It's amusing to read that Paris looters are discovering the watches they stole from Rolex and Patek Philippe stores are worthless shop units without working movements and secondly that all the Apple phones are display technology that locked the moment they left the store.
In 1996 doctors told me I wouldn’t walk again unaided, but in 2022 I took the record for the most Everest summits by a non-Sherpa https://t.co/bEckBhUwxJ
Home decorating isn’t unique to Homo sapiens.
More than 40,000 years ago, bands of Neanderthals turned a spacious rock shelter in the mountains of Spain into a cozy home, fashioning wood into tools and windbreaks and burning it for heat and light.
That picture comes from a first-of-its-kind trove of Neanderthal wooden artifacts from a domestic space, found at a cliffside site called Abric Romaní, 50 kilometers west of Barcelona.

How many times have you heard a story like this? Why do multi-millionaire actors/singers/entertainers never seem to use major accounting firms to do their taxes? It's always a family "friend" or some buddy from high school handling it.
Steve Harvey reveals he woke up owing the IRS $22,000,000 because his accountants spent SEVEN YEARS pocketing his tax checks and never filing a single return.
The government told him he had to pay $650,000 a month, every month, for 4 years. Miss ONE payment, and you go to JAIL.
He never would've known if his accountant hadn’t died. A woman cleaning out the office called his lawyer with a serious problem.
STEVE HARVEY: “She had found on the floor all my tax forms for seven years signed and with the checks stapled to it.”
“Well, they were cashing the checks, keeping the money and not turning in the tax forms.”
Seven years of bank statements that looked like a man paying his taxes.
“My lawyer called me, said, ‘Hey, man, we got a problem. You haven’t paid taxes in seven years.’”
“He said, ‘Man, that’s tax evasion. You can go to prison.’”
“I ended up owing 22 million. 22 million with the penalties.”
When he told his wife, Marjorie, she cried for two straight days.
“She says, ‘What you going to do?’ I said, ‘I’m going to go to work.’”
And he did.
“I took every comedy gig in this country, signed every contract. I went to work, man. I worked every single Friday, Saturday and Sunday.”
“I never missed a payment.”
He did that for four years. $650,000 a month, every month.
In 2012, he sold 49% of his radio company and used the check to pay the government off to zero.
“And that was the first time, man, I could breathe.”
The thieves were his accountants.
The $22,000,000 bill went to Steve Harvey.
And the only one who got threatened with prison was the man who got robbed.
BREAKING: At least 16 people are dead and 32 injured after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Tibet, China, officials say. Hundreds of homes have collapsed.
I thought maybe their play as a group would help offset what the team lost in Hughes as an individual but all 3 have been mostly invisible this season.
The #Canucks need to draft more high-end talent over the next few yrs to make that trade look better than it does today. 2/2
Hope Novotny becomes a star because none of the current NHLers they got in that trade have had anywhere near the impact Hughes had on the ice, even in comparison to his first few games with the #Canucks. 1/2
no issues if #Canucks scratch Öhgren tonight. One point in eight. Consistency an issue. He needs to be better and more noticeable on a nightly basis. I also imagine part of the plan is to light a fire under him and get him back in line-up vs old team on Sunday
NASA just shared this insane new shot of the Grand Canyon from space 💥
From orbit, the Grand Canyon still looks immense—a vast, winding scar sliced into the Colorado Plateau by the Colorado River over roughly 5–6 million years. Stretching 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and more than a mile deep, its layered walls and dramatic depth remain unmistakable even from hundreds of miles above Earth.
Yet the view is also a quiet reminder of scale: what feels monumental to us on the ground shrinks into a single, striking detail when seen against the full curve of the planet.
