I mean the Washington Football organization has to get it right eventually, right......... Root for the team and not for your opinion about the team to be right
The 3 TDs called back
1. JCM run vs Seattle (we did end up winning)
2. AW 80 yarder vs the Colts. Totally changed this game
3. McNichols TD vs San Fran
All penalties didn't impact the result
This doesn't count the incorrectly called Dyami TD vs Dallas
Jayden Daniels with a dot to Stefon Diggs, great ball with pressure in his face.
The #1 drive killer for this offense has been bonehead penalties — including 3 TDs called back in critical moments.
The #Commanders offense needs to put together a clean game after the bye.
#RaiseHail
Funny thing is we can still bring up Van Jefferson who is more accomplished than any WR we had on the roster last year when Terry, Deebo and Noah were hurt last season
Dan Graziano on #Commanders at trade deadline:
“I'm curious to see whether Washington dips back into the wide receiver market in the wake of Terry McLaurin's injury. The Commanders are 1-4-1, which might make them seem ready to unload talent. But they're only two games out of first place, and it feels like jobs might be on the line in Washington, so they might decide they need to go for it.”
@NYGseason I used to love the banter on here between fans but it gets nasty too often
I can appreciate so shit talking as long as it doesn't get personal/nasty
@NYGseason I found your post funny. Partly why I mimicked it in response. IMO both are team stats
The exchange was funny to me but if we're being genuine either of us counting offseason or injury days in such a streak probably shouldn't be considered serious
Jayden isn't perfect
The Giants gaffe was awful and I don't think he sees the field completely at times
But he has no elite offensive weapons, his line is atrocious and the defense plays one half every week
He's put up 1,000 yards of offense in 3 1/2 games with no turnovers
Jayden has made some gaffes the last 2 weeks. No arguing that.
But the issue isn't really those plays. It's the fact that we aren't winning.
Kirk Cousins caught heat for kneeling with no TOs before the half against the Eagles.
But it went away quickly because we won that game.
How many wins each team should have had based on post-game win expectancy vs. how many they actually finished with.
📈 Biggest overperformers: CLE, MIN, BUF
📉 Biggest underperformers: HOU, TB, LAR
You never know how single decision changes will impact things later but if we had simply made a FG on 4th and 3 we are driving late down 23-20 instead of 23-17
@AsiasAnalysis I don't think he trusts his eyes at times
Plus it takes time for longer pass plays to develop and his time to throw has been among the worst in the league
@CashJ I get why Quinn wanted to go for the TD there. SF scored TDs on their first two drives
But we had gotten a stop on their previous series and once you get off Shanahan's scripted plays they get less effective
There was more benefit taking 3 points to make it a 1 score game
