Simon Andriesz, 57, a former BGC Partners managing director, died in late September 2026. The Banker reported the death as suicide; Andy Agathangelou of the Transparency Task Force confirmed he had “passed away last week,” and Representative Thomas Massie noted the death without stating a cause. A correspondent who had spoken with him described the death as occurring at a trauma treatment center after years of litigation and health strain. No public report has cited evidence of foul play.
Andriesz was dismissed from BGC in 2017 after raising accounting concerns. The CFTC later fined the firm $3 million on related issues and awarded him roughly $420,000; he also cited a large HMRC tax determination. He described severe professional and personal consequences.
In 2026, he searched released Epstein files for the initials “HWL” and located a May 2018 exchange in which Epstein asked about Adfin, a start-up both interests had backed, and the HWL account replied that it was producing revenue. Lutnick has acknowledged a brief 2012 family lunch on Epstein’s island but told Congress he learned of Epstein’s Adfin stake only in 2026—an account the emails call into question. No published record alleges he took part in Epstein’s offenses.
The timing has prompted speculation, but the primary reporting attributes the death to suicide amid documented whistleblower strain. [](<https://t.co/q3lAGYrcu2>) [](<https://t.co/WiywqthPg2>) [](<https://t.co/JnuWvCoZTT>)

President Trump calls Jensen mid-interview at the All-In Summit to say AI taking over the world is a hoax
Jensen: "Mr. President? I've got to tell you something. If it wasn't because of you calling, I would... I'm on stage with the besties."
Trump: "You see, the great thing about life is that Jensen can develop the most complex computer chip in the world that nobody can copy for 10 years, but he can't figure out how to put me on speaker."
"So, the AI, it's almost a conspiracy, and the happiest group is China, they're very happy."
"I'm telling you, it's all a hoax. The data centers are great and they make people wealthy and they make states wealthy and it's the oil of the next 20, 25 years. It's bigger than the Internet."
"The robots are not going to be taking over the world and that's not going to happen. The AI will not be taking over the rest of the world. The whole thing is a hoax."
"Now, with that, we have to be a little bit careful, but that doesn't mean we're going to stop an industry. So I'm with you all the way."
@MAGACult2 Here you have better aspects to vote red even if has prices is skyrocketing and inflation is high, inflation every year is higher and higher since 1980 you idiot, actually trump lowered it in 2018 from obama disaster
@TheMobleyVerse@xerias_x@Roo13_60 It was rick rescorla that started to evacuate everyone out of the south tower when the north was hit first . Port authority told them to stay put but i think he said something like “ fuck that were getting out “ …read up about him its a brilliant read
I find these World Trade Center simulations by Kostack Studio fascinating because they remove the smoke and let you see the collapse much more clearly.
In the real footage, so much is hidden by fire, dust, debris, distance, and chaos that many people come away with the impression that the towers simply dropped straight down into their own footprints.
But that is not really what happened.
These simulations make it much easier to see that the collapse begins in the heavily damaged and fire-weakened region, the upper section starts moving and tilting, and the destruction then propagates downward through the structure.
The towers do not simply disappear vertically into their own footprints. Large portions of the upper structure and exterior are moving outward and to the side as the collapse develops. Much of that motion is simply obscured in the real videos once the enormous debris cloud forms.
And this is also why I find these simulations useful when people describe the collapses as looking like “controlled demolition.”
Strip away the smoke and dust and the resemblance becomes much less convincing.
What you see is a highly asymmetric structural failure beginning around the aircraft-damaged and fire-affected floors, followed by an enormous moving mass progressively overwhelming the structure beneath it. There is tilting, rotation, exterior columns peeling away, debris being thrown far outside the building footprint, and structural failure occurring chaotically as the collapse moves downward.
That is very different from the neat mental image usually implied by “controlled demolition,” where structural supports are deliberately severed in a carefully timed sequence to produce a predetermined collapse.
And importantly, we already know what preceded these collapses.
Both towers suffered massive aircraft-impact damage. Fireproofing was stripped from portions of the structure. Large, uncontrolled fires then burned across multiple floors - for about 56 minutes in the South Tower and about 102 minutes in the North Tower - heating and weakening structural components until collapse initiated.
Once that upper mass began moving, the loads imposed on the floors and structure beneath became vastly greater than anything they had been designed to carry.
The result was progressive collapse.
No, an animation is not proof simply because it looks convincing, and these are not official NIST simulations. They are visualizations built under particular assumptions.
But as visualizations, I think they are extremely useful.
They let you see something the original footage often cannot show clearly: beneath that enormous cloud of smoke and debris was a complicated, violent, asymmetric structural failure - not two buildings neatly dropping straight down into their own footprints.
A note on the simulation: this is not intended to reproduce the collapse down to the exact motion of every beam, floor panel, and fragment of debris. No practical simulation could do that. Its value is in modeling the large-scale structural behavior - how the major sections deform, move, tilt, separate, and progressively fail. Think of it as a visualization of the mechanics and overall collapse behavior, not a frame-by-frame reconstruction of where every piece of steel ultimately landed.
@TheOlChippy I'm still pissed 25 years later! And to have a terrorist sympathizer as the mayor of New York is truly unbelievable. Real Americans will always remember that 3,000 Americans were murdered on 9/11/2001 by Islamic Al Queda Terrorists.
