The coconut growers in Tamil Nadu will be immensely benefitted if you begin to fulfil your poll promise, Thiru @mkstalin.

To begin with, why is the corrupt DMK Govt not procuring de-husked coconut at ₹29.3/Kg despite the Central Govt encouraging its procurement by defining it under MSP?

DMK’s Poll Manifesto promises 65 & 66 assured farmers that the State Govt will procure Copra & Coconut oil to ensure its availability in Fair price shops. What is stopping you from fulfilling this promise?

The MSP for Copra in 2013-14 was ₹52.50/Kg. Our Hon PM Thiru @narendramodi avl has increased the MSP for Copra by 107% in the last 9 years to ₹108.60/Kg & for the benefit of Coconut growers, has increased the quantity of Copra procured under the Price Support Scheme.

It is important for the benefit of the farmers that the State govt honours its poll promise, at least now, to increase the procured quantity.
