The more info comes out about Rayman Legends the most I get more hype, again this remake is completely unnecessary but execution wise I think this might end up being the best version of Rayman Legends just because they're adding so much more to the game like new worlds and levels
It’s still crazy to think that after 18 Years of being absent King K Rool came back as the premiere Final Boss for the Nintendo Switch 2’s First Big Single Player game
I think the one thing I like about this remake so far with its tone is that it honestly feels like a next gen follow up of Rayman 3 with Rayman & Murphy’s VAs from that game returning
I’m very interested on the story for this game
I’ve noticed a trend when they release a game with a well known cartoony video game character going for a realistic style while this may not be ideal for certain series I feel like how people react to them in a disingenuous way as they compare it these to either Ai or tech demos
The word “slop” has no meaning anymore because people use it for literally everything, genuinely wtf do the QRTs mean “UE5 slop”. This game looks great on its own
@TheToonGirl Not to say like I’m not going to be harsh on the film because I think the film really dropped the ball on making a very good story and the interviews kind of shows even though Nintendo is great at Video Games they really don’t get the medium of Movies
Regardless on the whole debate if the Rayman Legends Retold being necessary
I think Ubisoft is handling this really well like the fact you’re getting a full 2.5D remake of Rayman Legends as well as an enhanced port of Origins for $40 in total is frankly a fantastic deal
@mariocircuit_ Mario Kart World definitely needs more tracks because the track selection is a bit light but I think it’s a bit silly to think Nintendo would just drop it 4 months after the game released
At the very least it’ll be a thing in 2027 because of the open world
I’ll be honest looking at these two games side by side holy crap Rayman Retold looks amazing I at first I was neutral on it but frankly seeing the game in action this game looks better and better
I especially love the graphics feels like the original game’s style but in 3D
‘We’re on par with Xbox Series S’: Ubisoft Montpellier told us how Rayman Legends: Retold is bringing 60FPS Ray-tracing to Switch 2.

I’ll be honest never really cared too much about the two Gameboy Mario games
The first one kind of sucks just because it’s just a worse Mario Bros
Mario Land 2 is honestly pretty fine but nothing to write home about besides the nice graphics
@TheToonGirl For like a new 3D Rayman game I think this would’ve worked well
But the problem is that it’s based on a 2D hand painted platformer which really makes it hard to not make comparisons
