وطنِ عزیز کی مٹی ایک بار پھر اپنے ایک عظیم سپوت اور کئی بہادر محافظوں کے لہو سے سرخ ہو گئی۔ آرمی میڈیکل کور (AMC) کی مایۂ ناز افسر، ماہرِ امراضِ نسواں میجر ڈاکٹر ثناء اظہار، وزیرستان کے علاقے میران شاہ میں دہشت گردوں کے بزدلانہ حملے کے نتیجے میں شہادت کے عظیم منصب پر فائز ہو گئیں۔

وہ صرف ایک فوجی افسر ہی نہیں تھیں بلکہ دکھی انسانیت کی خدمت کرنے والی ایک ہمدرد معالج بھی تھیں، جن کے ہاتھوں نے بے شمار ماؤں، بہنوں اور بیٹیوں کو زندگی اور امید کا پیغام دیا۔ مگر آج وہی ہاتھ وطن کی حفاظت اور انسانیت کی خدمت کی راہ میں ہمیشہ کے لیے خاموش ہو گئے۔

اس المناک سانحے میں میجر ڈاکٹر ثناء اظہار کے ساتھ وطن کے 20 اور جانباز سپوتوں نے بھی جامِ شہادت نوش کیا۔ ان عظیم شہداء نے اپنے لہو سے وفا، جرات، قربانی اور حب الوطنی کی ایسی داستان رقم کی ہے جو رہتی دنیا تک سنہری حروف میں لکھی جاتی رہے گی۔

شہداء کا خون کبھی رائیگاں نہیں جاتا۔ ان کی قربانیاں قوموں کی بقا، آزادی اور وقار کی ضمانت بنتی ہیں۔ آج پوری قوم اپنے ان عظیم بیٹوں اور بیٹی کی لازوال قربانی کو سلامِ عقیدت پیش کرتی ہے اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ کے غم میں برابر کی شریک ہے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ شہید میجر ڈاکٹر ثناء اظہار اور دیگر تمام شہداء کی کامل مغفرت فرمائے، ان کے درجات کو بلند سے بلند تر فرمائے، انہیں جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا کرے اور ان کے لواحقین کو صبرِ جمیل، حوصلہ اور استقامت نصیب فرمائے۔
