@JTPeterson34@PrisonMatt_ For this past season…95% fans felt like our season ended that afternoon in Denver. Also even if we did hold onto that Bears game…we would have gotten steamrolled by Seattle so that plays a factor. And my list had 9 before 2007 so there is plenty others that I’m sure were bad
@JTPeterson34@PrisonMatt_ Tbf I made a mistake. The ‘23 loss to the Niners was in the DV round. So every game I listed was DV round or later. Bears loss was WC so stakes already lower. The other thing is alot of these losses happened when we had teams that had more potential.
@JTPeterson34@PrisonMatt_ Brother it isn’t even close. Here’s 9 in my lifetime and then 1 that was a SB loss:
-‘23 WC 49ers
-‘21 DV 49ers
-‘20 CC TB as 1 seed
-‘19 CC 49ers as 1 seed
-‘16 CC Falcons
-‘15 DV Cardinals in OT
-‘14 CC Seattle in OT
-‘11 DV Giants as 1 seed
-‘07 CC Giants in OT
-‘97 SB Denver
@DaWheels_1@_Cumbee@PattonAnalytics They are close in actual stats. Love 3400 yards 23 TDs and 6 INT vs Caleb 3900 yards 27 TDs and 7 INT. Love played 2 less games. Their per game averages are almost the exact same. Our QBs have down the same thing…thrown a bad INT to loose a winnable playoff game
@DaWheels_1@_Cumbee@PattonAnalytics What???? You do realize Love had 439 passing attempts and Caleb had 568. And their stats were still close 😂😂😂. THE PACKERS HAD THE FEWEST OFFENSIVE POSSESSIONS IN A GAME SINCE 1999 AND THE BESRS THREW THE BALL WAY MORE PER GAME
@DaWheels_1@_Cumbee@PattonAnalytics I’m not saying the GB defense was worse than CHI. I’m saying the turnovers add extra possessions. Also the GB had a 52% pass rate while the Bears had a 54% which only hurts your argument lol. GB had an NFL record low offensive possessions so nominal counting stats are misleading
@DaWheels_1@_Cumbee@PattonAnalytics Exactly. So they allowed more points quicker. The bears defense was very boom or busy. Thats why counting stats can be misleading cause guys like Burrow or Dak are just in shootouts every other week. I think GB needs to push the pace way more to be successful this year
@_Cumbee@PattonAnalytics Correct largely due to Hafley’s defensive scheme forcing teams to have long drawn out possessions to move the ball on them. This cuts down the total possessions in the game and as a result limits how many offensive possessions GB has and then limits total production lol
@DaWheels_1@_Cumbee@PattonAnalytics Yes but you realize the bears defense forced 33 turnovers LOL. Compared to GBs 14. That’s a big difference over 17 games.
@SLear25@Philly_Mays Yes the heat and warriors. Who had Ray Allen and Klay respectively. Guys who did not need the ball to be elite difference makers lol. Is Jaylen Brown going to just sit in the corner? LeBron?
@_Cumbee@PattonAnalytics Maybe because they had the fewest number of offensive possessions per game of any team since 1999 lol. Partly due to lafluer but honestly as a result of your defense generating no turnovers
@MikeyCoinSnatch@CelticsUnite18 The markets have it priced as a toss-up or slight favor to Celtics. Celtics had them by 11 games last year. Variance in wins league-wide should be lower due to less tanking. 76ers got better. That 3-5 range to the Celtics is probably fair. Probably comes down to Embiid’s health
@MikeyCoinSnatch@CelticsUnite18 Eh you might be surprised on the difference in wins by the end of the year. Celtics play really hard which bodes well in the regular season when other teams may not. Embiid plays 30 games a year. LeBron will rest. And the bench is atrocious past Simons and Wade
@79illwill I’d argue that we could see some turnover and schedule-based regression from Caleb. I’m not sure there will be overall regression but more so stagnant. Love should realistically have the best supporting cast he’s ever had on offense. And they should be throwing the ball more
@Favesan23@Schultz_Report Ah so by this logic PFF is the greatest thing ever and therefore you are wholeheartedly admitting that Jordan Love is a top 5 QB. Alright good to know we are on the same page!
@CPowers14 Did we not see Burns approach to a foot from 260 yards on 13? And also his approach into 18? And the bunker shot? Definitely a real issue but this is misleading. Definitely a major major issue but not it’s a bit misleading
@datmanpc@MatthewMKE98 I mean it’s less a matter of them regressing and more a matter of them just being garbage at that point. Run game was terrible last year. Didn’t have Kraft, Watson, or Reed for separate portions of the season. A lot more tailwinds than headwinds it appears
