@WestwoodLee@NUCLRGOLF@BrodyAMiller@TheAthletic It’s simply staggering the amount of bullshit that pours out daily. Such a shame and disappointing. I guess it will make for a good book one day.
Mark Cuban had a refreshingly grounded take on extreme wealth when Theo Von asked him about it.
Theo wondered what happens when someone gets so rich they can “have anything and get away with it.” Cuban basically said: nah, that’s not my world.
He still hangs with his high school buddies and old rugby teammates. He lived with six guys in a three-bedroom apartment when he first moved to Dallas. No butlers, no chauffeur, no “look at me” lifestyle.
He admitted the paranoid “rich game” has crossed his mind (especially after seeing what happened with Diddy), but he hates living that way. He’d rather stay normal than become the guy who thinks money makes him smarter or untouchable.
“I love having a lot of money… but I was happy when I was poor. I was just happier when I was rich.”
Simple, honest, and rare coming from a billionaire.
Have you noticed wealth changing people around you — or changing how you see yourself? What’s one thing you’d never want money to change about you?
