NSW DPI and DPE ecologists find the vulnerable Blossom Bat in low numbers at Crowdy Bay NP on the mid north coast of NSW. Nectar resources were limited when they should have been plentiful. 2019-20 megafires left their mark on Biripi Country. We look forward watching it recover.
So good to follow up conservation concern with science post the 2019-2020 Australian megafires. My hope now rests with a very long century spanning gap before the next one!
@nswenviromedia Great conservation work in action and good to see the #SavingOurSpecies program reaching out to all the little lesser-known pockets of biodiversity in regional NSW.
@nswenviromedia Conservation action in the wild! Thanks to those who made this work possible under the Saving Our Species program. Its great to see conservation work happening in our regions and backyards. Check this out @SawtellBirdman
