Looking for something fun to do that doesn't require a tuxedo or 3x priced preset NYE menus? Take the family, have a date night or hang with your crew at Chicken N Pickle. Bonus: Support a local organization that supplements public education in Oklahoma. https://t.co/UlfRhA2yad
If you own a small business, remember, your REAL friends will buy from you and support you. If you have a friend who owns a small business, don’t ask them for free stuff. Great friends pay full price. Remember, every “free” product still costs; time, labor, inventory, margin.
Small businesses don’t have corporate cushions. If you want to support someone you care about, buy, tip, promote, leave a review.

If State Question 832 is approved, Oklahoma could one day have the nation’s highest minimum wage. It may feel bold and heroic, but it defies economic gravity and would send jobs, young workers, and small businesses crashing back to earth.

Customer feedback is your compass. It shapes your product, refines your messaging, and builds trust. How do you keep that conversation alive in your business?
Most companies don’t fail because the idea was bad — they fail because the founders focused on the wrong things.
Here are 4 areas every founder should master before worrying about anything else 👇🏿
1️⃣ Define a specific customer to serve.
You can’t help everyone. Clarity here is power. The narrower your focus, the stronger your messaging, product, and traction. Talk to real people. Learn their pain points, priorities, and daily struggles. Once you understand your ideal customer deeply, everything else gets easier.
2️⃣ Build and iterate on a product that solves a real, unmet need.
Don’t chase trends or build what looks impressive — build what works. The best products come from a cycle of listening, testing, learning, and improving. Perfection doesn’t win; feedback does. Get your solution in front of users early and often.
3️⃣ Establish a business model that benefits you when you deliver value.
Revenue isn’t just about making money — it’s about confirming that you’re solving a meaningful problem. Design your pricing so that when your customer wins, you win too. Keep it simple, sustainable, and scalable.
4️⃣ Create a repeatable Go-To-Market strategy.
You don’t have a business until you can consistently acquire and retain customers. Test different channels — partnerships, content, outbound, community — but focus on one that proves efficient before expanding. Document what works and refine it until it’s a system.
Everything outside of these four pillars — brand, fundraising, press, even team size — is supplemental.
Focus on the essentials first, and success will follow.
Take time today to reflect: Where do you stand across these four?
Refocus your energy accordingly.

PR is more than just sending a press release to the local newspaper when your business has a new product or hires a new employee. Solid PR involves a well-planned and timed campaign of influence. https://t.co/zB31cwApPe
ICYMI: One of the biggest barriers to scaling a business is the leader's inability to let go. Founders often become the bottleneck, unable to focus on strategic growth. The solution? Mastering the art of delegation. https://t.co/8FUPhHNomc
"Content creation that comes from a place of experience versus opinion has been a safe way to avoid the pitfalls of fake news. If you've got an opinion, maintaining the right level of objectivity in your response is that key piece of transparency." https://t.co/NG9rVLx7gC
