负责传输该事件相关数据的软件供应商是法国生物识别公司IDEMIA，其母公司由美国私募巨头 Advent International控制。

根据Advent自己的企业披露文件，该公司自1993年以来就在大中华地区开展业务，并已在该地区投资超过18亿美元。

其大中华投资团队由一位驻上海的董事总经理负责，Advent同时在上海和香港设有办公室。

2026年3月，Advent宣布将进一步强化香港作为其亚太区域总部的地位，并扩大与当地有限合伙人（即基金出资人）的合作。

Advent将亚太地区列为公司的“战略重点”，并表示香港处于“全球资本、区域市场和交易机会的交汇点”。

其大中华投资组合包括多家中共国制造企业、制药供应商、科研公司和消费品企业，例如GS Capsule、BioDuro、AI Dream、LBS Group以及Seek Pet Food。

其中，对Seek公司的投资，使Advent与中共国一家政治背景深厚的私募基金建立了联系。

Advent于2024年8月宣布，将与Seek现有股东博裕资本共同投资这家山东制造企业，并表示双方将合作推动Seek在中国市场进一步扩张。

博裕资本由江志成共同创立，而江志成是中国前国家主席、前中共总书记江泽民的孙子。

路透社曾将博裕资本称为一家“太子党基金”，并报道称，投资者普遍认为，江家背景使该基金能够进入中国一些受到严格控制的重要行业。

文章认为，这条所有权链条值得关注：新泽西州的选民登记系统依赖于一家法国生物识别公司，而这家公司由一家在上海和香港运营、在大中华地区投资超过18亿美元、并与江泽民家族相关基金合作的私募股权公司所控制。
