#MapMonday On this day in 2014, NASA satellites took photos showing the eastern basin of the Aral Sea had completely dried up. Encyclopædia Britannica produced maps showing changes in the area from 1960-2014. It was formerly the 3rd largest lake in the world (area 68,000 km sq)
