Depends what he means by AGI, but I think that’s correct. I’m not sure how good even the best models are at exercising judgement, especially in areas with relatively little research behind them. Even when doing system design with Opus 5.5 it makes questionable decisions.

What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people.

The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

It’s no longer about individual rights and free markets, it’s now increasingly about ethnocentric grievance politics soldered onto a large welfare state with industrial strategy policies. The left has fairly similar economics with a different PR approach.

Nazi economics was hard left in the traditional sense. The focus was on central planning and subordinating any ‘private’ businesses to the whims of the state. Culturally, it was identitiarian snd collectivist. Until recently, I thought of right wing as free market individualism.
