Valentino Ziraba, a solar beneficiary from Buteeba in Jinja District, recognized the importance of having reliable lighting in his home and took the step to acquire a solar lighting system.
Through the RBF program, he procured a Solar Home System from D’Light Solar at a 50% subsidy, making it more affordable and accessible.
What was once very expensive is now within reach, even for households with smaller incomes.
Today, his home has reliable lighting, and his children are able to study comfortably every night, improving their learning environment.
He expresses his gratitude for the programme, noting that the reduced cost has made solar energy accessible and beneficial to his household.
