@flushingitgolf A lot has been said about the contract duration of Bryson and Rahm. What about other players like Niemann, Puig, Hatton? When do they need to be re-signed?
@Mike_kim714@Fit_For_Golf@practicalgolf It said my hip turn was 19deg at impact whereas tour average was 43deg. I know I have tight hips so it is probably be partially a physical limitation I need to stretch more but maybe there are swing mechanics I need to also train on.
I got a free swing analysis at PGA championship (Aronimink). They emailed it to me today. The suggestion was that I needed better hip turn in downswing but no real suggestion on actually how to do it. Any thoughts @Mike_kim714@Fit_For_Golf@practicalgolf?
@LIVGolfBuff@BeatinTheBookie Is that true that he would have to play local qualifying? Is that why Wolff didn’t try out either? I’m confused why they don’t seem to care enough to do qualifiers, but I somewhat understand if they’d have to do locals too with their schedule.
@jschmidt139@Irish_On_Tour Will you be making similar posts about the ridiculous invitations given to Sullivan (102), Ayora (103), Horschel (107), Holt (110), and Kaneko (183) who also MC? That must really really bother you now.
@MarkRMeadows@USGAMike I’d love for the club champion at the course be given a spot in each regular tour event (non majors) to show how the best player at that club would fare in a tour setup.
@JonahDispatch The day that the Supreme Court is expanded is the point of no return for destroying the country. I’ve got a lot of problems with ideas from both major parties but that one is probably my #1 deal breaker right now.
@brianrtw@SpenceTaxGeek@mattyglesias@davidsgamage What are the odds that the national “ban” proposed by democrats actually bans gerrymandering in an evenhanded way? I’d be willing to bet zero percent.
@flushingitgolf How does LIV attract/keep any top players with current Scott O’Neill sales pitch? Want international travel, lots of time away from family, less and less US, etc but without big signing bonuses? Can big events like Adelaide or South Africa maintain if big names aren’t present?
@jerichsen66@flushingitgolf Yes, I’d like to know what it means to integrate with the national opens? Do they simply become co-sanctioned by International Series with LIV players obligated to play in 2? Or are they integrated into LIV standings somehow? I don’t see national opens changing to LIV format.
@deepdivegolf@flushingitgolf There are a lot of mainstream golf podcasts who are PGAT centric and very negative toward LIV. How often do they have pro-LIV guests? Are you equally critical of them for never presenting the pro-LIV perspective?
@jasonwhitlock 18 holes of golf over 4 rounds. Lowest score wins individual event. Team event overlayed with lowest team score winning that part. Took my 8 year old 10 minutes of watching to understand. Hope that helps.
@tomandmartys@FrankJJustice I disagree. I liked it and I think it could work. My kids understood it. It clearly worked with certain regions. I think LIV’s biggest issue was underestimating the power of the ecosystem to crush them, and dropping the lawsuits that could have broken things up.
@ItZ_Whisper@Mike_kim714@NoLayingUp Yep, I like LIV and this is where I see the problem. If LIV scales back and loses top players they basically become no better than DPWT. I don’t see a reason for them to exist at that point which is a shame bc I actually liked the LIV concept (teams) and saw some potential.
@JohnstonGarrett I believe him as far as 2026 goes. 2027 and beyond not looking good after report by Brett baier and reading between the lines of Scorr O’Neill’s email to LIV employees.
