Paperless CAC – RG Launches Innovation & Digital Services Unit
In a bold move to deepen digitization and achieve a paperless organization, the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) today commissioned its new Innovation and Digital Services Unit.
Commissioning the Unit alongside Management Staff, the Registrar-General/CEO, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, said the initiative is in direct alignment with Item 7 of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Item 7 provides for : Accelerated diversification through industrialization, digitization, creative arts, manufacturing & innovation.”
“The Commission is pacesetter in the digital transformation of public service delivery,” Magaji stated.
He therefore charged the new Unit to deliver on its mandate by ensuring all CAC State Offices key into the paperless and digitization initiative.
In his response, the Head of Innovation and Digital Services, Mohammed Abdullahi, applauded the Registrar-General for the laudable initiative and pledged the Unit’s commitment to deliver on its mandate.
@PeterObi I agree. Our footballers—and Atlethes—will perform better if Nigeria took better care of them. Compensate them for their effort, help them with minor things like booking a hotel, proper gear and training facilities. Its not too much to ask.
@susylicious2023 A prenup exists even if a couple decides not to draft one. The court will enforce its own type of prenup based on your marital affairs and it may not favour you. At least in a prenup you have a say and can negotiate terms.

@winsindchat@yabaleftonline yes, arrest is possible… but not automatic.
This is majorly a civil issue. In cases like companies usually sue the employee for massive damages. But if it’s proven he intentionally and maliciously destroyed company property, it can cross into criminal territory.
For instance if I have to draw up a contract like a deed of assignment (the agreement used for buying or selling land)I have to look to the past—investigate the land's history. And into the future—to limit the risk of the parties I'm representing.
When I first started practicing law, I hated working with newly formed companies—often ones I had incorporated myself—because I had to build their entire legal structure from scratch.
Now its my favorite thing to do. It's a privilege to form the legal foundation for businesses.
The things I love the most are things that will outlive me like a good book,a nice property—real and intellectual, a properly written legal document capable of speaking even when I can't.
