@SaffronOlive I've just signed up for Premium at MTGGoldfish and will log all my rare/mythics there now and start brewing around the TWD characters for the next three months. I love brewing! This is only happening because I can secure the cards now. I can't do this with Jumpstart. (2/2)

@SaffronOlive It's good to hear the clarification. As it stands though, I still can't get any Jumpstart in the UK, but have been able to order TWD Secret Lair. Knowing I will get them has also allowed me to start preparing for their arrival. That means sorting my collection and brewing. (1/2)

@SaffronOlive I am a bit disappointed in my box so far. 9 packs open and only 1 card from The List. Somehow I already have 3 variants of Orah, Skyclave Hierophant. (BaB promo, foil and non-foil.) Something is trying to tell me to make a commander deck with it?

@LJaroh @EmahiserDalton @PleasantKenobi Well that’s their call but it would be a mistake because MTG is the best game ever made and a few new cards that some don’t like can’t take away from all the others. And when the game gets bigger, they will sit on the sidelines? I doubt it!

@PleasantKenobi As a fellow Brit, I challenge you to try to list all the potentially good things about TWD SL. It’s not just about money for Hasbro/WOTC. The game is going to grow and the community will evolve to become more diverse thanks to the path the game is on. New players are good!

I shit you not, I was just looking at @wizards_magic The Walking Dead Secret Lair (planning buy) and the song The Walking Dead by Puressence came on. I turned it up (I love it) and then I realised the connection. Must be a sign I should order a couple.

Just ordered a Set Booster Box of @wizards_magic Zendikar Rising. I’m going to use a pack a day as a reward to forge a new habit. It worked this time last year with walking to work - and my pull photos should be more interesting than last time, what with The List. Wish me luck!

@merchant_gray @SaffronOlive But the crossovers will bring in new people to appreciate the world. The IP is fantastic and has more chance of a live action TV show or movie if the game has expanded in general and to new demographics.

I think your most vocal and veteran demographic just doesn’t realise what’s good for them. You are going to reach more players which means more chances of playing with our paper cards!

For years, I only used LinkedIn as a way to get headhunted but since getting the app (which looks a lot like Facebook!) on my phone this week I can see that it’s become a place you go to do your current job better, instead of trying to get a new one. I predict big things for it.

@Michael67884992 @SaffronOlive They are aggressively expanding to reach new audiences which make the greatest game of all time even bigger. These crossovers and the Netflix TV show will really open things up. I would not be surprised if there was a live action movie/series. The IP is so good.
