@bruce_straley@itsdrell Corporate does understand this. They don't care. They want the quick buck that MTX and recurring revenue streams provide, and damned the future. Money now is all that is important, at the cost of future customers and developer thoughts.
@SaffronOlive@Justin_Neagle This has been my argument since the beginning. Magic is at its best when the world takes center stage. Wizards knows how to make compelling worlds. They are no good at presenting character centric stories within a set.
@UpwardSenility@ncgyles@foursyYT The overall amount of money the collection is "worth" is subjective, depending on who is doing the talking. Considering the amount of grief that B&M has put the Mansell's through over it, they deserve far more than the $200k anyway.
@ncgyles@foursyYT Which lies? I am waiting to see evidence to the contrary, but BAM has yet to show anything. And from the police bodycam, released videos and BAM's actions and statements, I more inclined to believe Ben's side.
@choydev@magmamaster1801@Pirat_Nation How about sueing the small Indy devs that do the same thing? Why are small companies allowed to release crap games they close the servers whenever they want?
@choydev@magmamaster1801@Pirat_Nation Imagine buying a car that only works when connected with Ford's servers, and then they decide to shut down their servers for "reasons".
@ThuleanCavalier@doepssd@Skillful__@PandaKingEX Gameplay matters as well, and both Morrowind and Oblivion have some issues that Skyrim mitigates, which is why Skyrim is looked on so fondly by so many.
@ThuleanCavalier@Skillful__@PandaKingEX I prefer Skyrim. While also great games, the previous 2 just had too many gameplay flaws to them that I can't look past.
