This is a betrayal. @SpeakerJohnson continues to defy the law that honors the police officers who protected him and elected officials from across the U.S regardless of their political affiliation. Trump and its DOJ are contemplating awarding a 1 million dollar to each member of the mob that stormed and breached the Capitol who were found guilty for their crimes…crimes that they were gullible enough to record themselves attacking me and my colleagues.

All these admin officials talking tough about rioters and protesters assaulting officers in L.A. and punishing them with lengthy sentences (which I agree) are the same people who has condoned the violent mob at the US Capitol, have painted the attackers as victims and heroes when it suits them, have pardoned them and now wants to give them reparations for the damage they caused.
Yet they remain silent on officers injuries and benefits denied or the very least, install a plaque mandated by its own laws.

They asked us to risked our lives but they can’t risk a mean tweet from their demagogue. They for ran in fear for their lives while we were fighting for our and give them a chance to escape and do the right thing…although they live, they failed to honor us and betrayed us once again.
