Rare I say it. But Eddie Hearn is spot on here @Tyson_Fury isn’t covering himself in glory here.
The British boxing public have been asking for this fight for a decade. It needs to be in the uk. Simple as
A very good point. Not sports related. But we cannot allow the Lindsay Clancey defence to stand. She must be found guilty of first degree murder. This is common sense
The dangerous precedent that legally sets if Lindsay Clancy is found “Not guilty” for the M*rder of her three kids
Una go just dey hear reference “In the case of Lindsay Clancy VS United States 2026”

Breaking news: Pietersen joins England's white-ball coaching team
Wow. England have appointed former Ashes-winning batter Kevin Pietersen to their white-ball coaching team in the build-up to the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Pietersen, 46, joins as a specialist mentor and will start in the role for the upcoming T20 and one-day matches against Sri Lanka.
He will also be involved in this winter's tours to Australia and South Africa
Controversial, magnificent, and very exciting development out of English cricket today
What sparked the comeback?
I asked the team what was said after the morning foursomes sweep at Lahinch.
Turns out it wasn't what was said, but what was played.
Grehan saying “I was so deflated. I have to say the lads came in and once the tunes got going, I was like f-it.”
I asked who the DJ was. It was Poulter. I asked what the song choice was. It was Wonderwall.
The team then closed out the press conference by singing it for us....

Now this is a good use of AI
A little joy-giver for those of us who sat in chilly cars with our Dads outside grounds at 5pm on winter Saturdays listening to that music and the words of this chap
Sport and Business - NIKE
A cautionary tale as Nike is delisted from the S&P 500 after a 5 years stck price low.
They brought in McKinsey consultants, fired creatives (600 or so jobs), removed their wholesale model and stopped telling stories.
The sports giant has left gaps for the likes of Castore, New Balance, Hoka, On Running etc to come into the market… And their stock price has declined so much that they have been removed from the S&P. The index fund provider removed them from their top 500 companies during their quarterly rebalance.
Stories sell… creative people innovate… Having worked in large corporates with consultants I can imagine the conversations that took place.
They removed specific categories (baseball, basketball, soccer, football) and re-classified products into “Women”, “Men” and “Kids”. The logic was that Nike was duplicating resources and a pivot to DTC would provide enough customer data to inform product decisions instead of relying on the category experts.
A lot of these experts were fired and Nike lost their insights.
The moved to a D2C more e-commerce led model to save on ‘middle man’ costs - this meant their products were not as readily available to people out shopping in a “sports shop”
Marketing - Nike moved away from customer acquisition and more towards membership and retention (EG NIKE RUN APP - when everyone uses strava). They also cut funding to build ad campaigns around athletes (eg Tiger Woods, Ronaldo etc)
All in all… A corporate shambles. It just proves an MBA, or being the CEO of a massive consultancy firm doesn’t mean you don’t make very poor decisions.
Quick drill if you’re coaching Rugby or kicking in particular!
(Sound on 🔊)
Especially relevant and valuable when you see points left on the field in an international game of the magnitude that was the Boks vs All Blacks game yesterday.
Make the target smaller… aim at a post and try and hit it. Focus on the process, consistency of your ball strike, following through on the line of your run up.
A little rusty but a nice couple of strikes today!
And then just repeat
Hit the with the data!!! Katie is the undisputed GOAT. Not many male fighters can do that… Shields a great fighter. But Katie has walked so everyone else in this sport could even have a career.
She’s a standard bearer that I don’t think can ever be surpassed
To all the Americans that claim shields is the GWOAT explain to me why she boxed on front of 16000 her last fight and katie is doing 83000 main headline? Cause Katie Taylor is Boxings GWOAT 🇮🇪🇮🇪 numbers tell a story.. Katie wrote her own
Thank you for dreaming. Thank you for always preserving. Thank you for letting us be part of your special journey. Just one more to go 💫
