If they don’t like tipping then they should EAT AT HOME… people like this are truthfully what’s wrong with the world. You have enough money to go out to eat and spend 600 bucks in this economy, you’re blessed. But you can’t find it in your heart to tip appropriately. And you’re so ignorant to how servers and bartenders and tipped employees are actually paid you don’t even realize how ridiculous the “I spent more money but you didn’t have to do extra work” argument is. The bartender makes that servers drinks that server then has to tip out on her SALES to the bartender. That means the more you spend the more she tips out. Regardless of what you leave. Servers also get taxed based on an average percentage of tips. So if you don’t tip enough that server now owes money for your check. Don’t forget they also out the user food runner hosts and other front of house employees. This is almost always based on total sales and calculated as a percentage of that large total.

Larger amount you spend= larger amount server tips out other staff

This is the perfect example for why I say we need better rich people. Shame on this self righteous customer. Don’t tip-kindly find your nearest drive through window!
