@DrLeventis Hence my question, whether Alawites would feel safe in Cyprus. Also, Cyprus suspended processing asylum claims from Syrians almost a year ago. Alawites are likely to seek refuge in more welcoming areas with established Alawite communities or closer cultural ties.
