Every month, we join communities for Umuganda to work together and promote healthier environments.
Last month in Kanombe, alongside residents of Kabagendwa Village, we cleared bushes and drainage systems, followed by a health discussion on NCD risk factors and free screenings for hypertension, diabetes, and BMI.
Together, we continue building healthier and stronger communities. 🌿🤝
Can you guess which community we’ll join next month? Drop your guess in the comment section!
(Hint: it is in one of the areas where Goodlife pharmacies are located.)

Diabetes is a global health challenge but with awareness, prevention, and early action, we can change the narrative.
On World Diabetes Day, we’re reminded that diabetes can affect anyone. It occurs when the body struggles to regulate blood sugar, often due to genetics, lifestyle factors, or insulin resistance. Common causes include physical inactivity, unhealthy eating habits, excess body weight, and family history.
But the good news? Prevention is possible.
Regular check-ups, balanced nutrition, staying active, managing stress, and maintaining a healthy weight can significantly reduce your risk. For those already living with diabetes, early diagnosis and proper management can prevent complications and support a healthy, fulfilling life.
You can take action today by getting tested for free at our screening rooms in Kisimenti: +250795306964 , Silverback Mall, or M. Peace Plaza: +250795303509
