Gxasheka claims in the police docket that the mayor directly contacted her to amend the CV of finance divisional head Kagiso Lerutla in 2019 — just days before the application window for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position officially closed.

In a dramatic twist, this is the same CFO position linked to Lerutla’s recent arrest.
