Goodwood PS will be CLOSED to students, staff and child care on Tuesday, May 24 as they do not have electricity. There will be NO remote learning taking place for the schools that are closed. Thank you to all the crews working hard to restore the power and help with the clean up!

We will be posting shortly about some schools that will be closed tomorrow. We are working to confirm these schools and locations so that staff, parents/guardians and students have certainty. Please standby.

Update 1/2: We continue to monitor the storm cleanup across Durham Region. In addition to Uxbridge, we are aware of a couple of schools that still do not have power. We will communicate at approx 8pm today if any schools will be closed on Tuesday.

Our thoughts are with those impacted by the storm this weekend. We are monitoring the aftermath of the storm in Uxbridge closely and should there be any changes to school operations for Tuesday, we will be contacting families directly.
