@SharpFootball Kirk gave the Vikings an out every 1-2 years if he didn't match the value they wanted. In return he was compensated well annually. Lamar isn't willing to bet on himself and give the team an out. Which is fair for him to do.. but these situations aren't comparable and you know it.

@SharpFootball Kirk deals were 1 and 2 years. And that's a total over 7 years. If Lamar is just on the team year 4 he was offered $200m guaranteed. I'm sure ravens would be fine if he wanted to do a series of 1 yr $50m gtd deals. That'd give him $350m over the same timeframe.
