@OUnderfolder@Inhumansoflate1 Well, the idea is to analyze accurately with a sociological lense what makes people in a certain environment choose to turn to crime, and figure what modifications should be applied to make people no longer eager to act this way
@OUnderfolder@Inhumansoflate1 Pretty much every community can be undermined by drug addiction, and it's probably a better idea to understand and to treat the symptoms (force the addicts out of their addiction, rehabilitate and monitor them such that they don't fall again) than to focus only on hunting dealers
@OUnderfolder@Inhumansoflate1 Even though it's easier when it's a vocation, it's very doable to provide pretty much anyone a comprehensive formation for the education field (it's harder for higher education though), if the perks of working in the education field become attractive enough
@OUnderfolder@Inhumansoflate1 I wasn't just talking about theft and burglary only, I was meaning for stuff like smuggling, or any illegal/immoral hustle
@OUnderfolder@Inhumansoflate1 It would certainly also require more effective actions against hard drugs and addictions, like large and effective prevention campaigns and massive, carefully-monitored rehabilitation plans for consumers
@OUnderfolder@Inhumansoflate1 More like, you try to deescalate and improve the (generally impoverished) environments and situations that breed criminality, so that people are less taunted and tempted by the lavish excesses of those who earn from crime and criminality feels less like a rewarding option
@OUnderfolder@Inhumansoflate1 It's not impossible, but it's a very costly initiative that would need about a decade to be set up and that would actually pay off one generation later, so no one wants to initiate this
@themichaeltbh The drop system is kinda similar to netflix, where it's released weekly episode by episode until the full season is available (the definitive stable drop), and in the meantime they're teasing the next season
@lordvictor Tbh the thing with most "futuristic" weapons is that the're merely run-of-the-mill ones with a hip gamer skin, instead of being overly superior (with a far higher fire output, perfected recoil absorption, advanced aim assistance, foolproof reliability, and so on...)
@souljagoyteller What if we did this but the punishment system was held by corporations with profit incentives that they could fulfil with inmate slave labor and spectacular execution shows, and we managed to convince people that rehabilitation is wrong?
Nothing bad would ever happen for sure
@KinaMagica Kinda disagree (although women should have her body hair however they like)
But can we just admit that the dude would be less chopped without body hair?
