@EU_Commission Access to other people’s time is not a basic right. That’s what health care is. Rights consist of declarations of what others aren’t allowed to do to you. Not what others must do for you. That becomes an argument for morality where time and compensation enter the discussion.
I wish you were as vocal about rooting out corruption and gov’t inefficiencies. Maybe the people would be more likely to trust you with their money. The gov’t has plenty of confiscated money. I’d rather Jeff Bezos keep his money and invest it in capital projects. More people will benefit.
@flutterwhat@jamonholmgren Do you read the bit about pre-loading? Switching a handle to a different geometry batch with the same materials doesn’t cause stuttering.
@ChShersh I thought games that do multithreading generally dedicate each thread to a task- like a dedicated game loop, an audio thread, one feeding the gpu, etc. It’s been years though. Not sure of current practices.
@yacineMTB@knowclarified What’s even crazier is how much the manual labor equivalent of the software would be! It would be prohibitively expensive and so we’d have much smaller GDP. It’s insane what technology has enabled.
