I don’t usually write pieces like this — but the timing, the signals, and the questions felt too important to ignore.
This is not about politics.
It’s about patterns.
Take a few minutes and decide for yourself.
cc @ShawnRyan762@peterthiel
@TimeMounta98968@NancyMace No, she doesn’t have a X account.
But I’m sure you’re celebrating your one follower since 2025 from the confines of your basement — you bumbling garden gnome.
@MarindaVannoy1 Have you ever wondered why your ignorance — and blatant blind spots for Trump — have you out here every day swinging and missing with your feeble wag the dog distraction BS?
@MAGAMAHACindy “…He isn’t bought and paid for.”
Quite literally the most ignorant comment anyone can make about this imbecile occupying our White House.
This guy has been publicly bitch slapped and told to sit the fuck down.
At this point he should just admit defeat and resigin.
He's an embarrassment to himself, our military and the country who elected him.
I owe Chicago an apology. 🥹
I came here expecting the version of the city I’ve heard about for years: dirty, dangerous, dysfunctional, and hopelessly corrupt.
Instead? It’s beautiful.
The architecture is stunning. The streets have been surprisingly clean. The food is incredible. The neighborhoods have character. And Lake Michigan provides a breathtaking backdrop that almost makes you forget you’re in the middle of one of America’s largest cities.
And experiencing it with Free, who grew up here, has given me an entirely different perspective.
Now, am I suddenly endorsing Chicago politics? 😂 Of course not.
But here’s where my libertarianism might irritate people on BOTH sides:
Chicago should be allowed to govern Chicago.
If the people of a community choose policies I wouldn’t choose for mine, that’s a far better arrangement than imposing one political vision on 330 million people from Washington, D.C.
Decentralization means accepting that different communities will make different choices.
And beneath all the politics are actual human beings…families, churches, businesses, neighborhoods, artists, cooks, builders…creating something bigger than government ever could.
A city is more than its politicians.
Chicago, you surprised me. ❤️
It took approximately 137 days to go from $39 trillion in national debt to $40 trillion in national debt.
Thank goodness the party of fiscal responsibility is in charge.
I have carefully reviewed Todd Blanche’s qualifications to be Attorney General. This includes his record and responses to questions from Senators at the Department of Justice Appropriations hearing, his confirmation hearing, and in the weeks that followed.
While I believe Mr. Blanche is a capable lawyer, the Department of Justice has become increasingly political.
Mr. Blanche has taken several actions that have further eroded the Department’s independence, and that is the basis for my vote to oppose his confirmation:
Mr. Blanche approved an order to shield the President, his sons, and the family business from IRS audits, protections unavailable to other American taxpayers.
He approved the creation of a $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund.
He promised an anti-abortion organization that he would seek to prohibit the mailing of abortion medication to women nationwide.
Under his leadership, the Department attempted to indict Senators Mark Kelly and Elissa Slotkin over their ill-advised, but constitutionally protected, videos encouraging resistance to unlawful orders.
More than 1,200 former Department of Justice employees have opposed his nomination, arguing that he has undermined the institution.
For these reasons, I will vote against this nomination.
10% of all the debt accumulated in the 250 year history of this country will be incurred in the first half of Trump’s second term, with Mike Johnson and John Thune leading Congress.
I’m unashamed to have been kicked off “team debt” for not going along with this.
Trump is legit a pretty good amateur golfer. I'm a member of one of his clubs so I've seen him play many times. He probably was a 4 or 5 in his prime. He's 80, and drives it about 180 yards now. No one like that can win a senior club championship in any universe.
What a nightmare. By implementing the tariffs illegally, and now having to unwind them, the Trump administration created over $100 billion of profit for corporations selling foreign products, at the expense of American consumers.
Your refund: $0.00
Apple’s profit: $2.2 billion
In every way, he is the model of what I am teaching my son not to be: vile, small, cruel, ignorant, petty, corrupt. And he models it daily. Today’s example:
