@CFemurson@PalantirTech Actually, no. Peter Thiel put $30 million into Palantir. The CIA funding program put in about $2 million. And it was paid back rather quickly (certainly before Palantir sued the DOD because of their procurement process).
I did my chemo earlier this year. God bless you.
Check out the recent research on fasting before chemo. I fasted 36 hours before and about 18 hours after. I tried this for the first four infusions and didn’t even use my anti-nausea meds. Then I was curious and tried an infusion without fasting and was sick for the next three weeks. Went back to fasting on the next infusion and was good again. That’s an anecdote; check out the science.
The scare quotes refer to your phrase: "Biblical Christianity." It would be better if you understood what that was before you accused the Catholic Church not only of falling short but of being "as far from Biblical Christianity as you can get."
Before you accuse others of straying from the Bible, learn the original languages. Study those who in the frist few centuries still spoke and thought in the Greek of the New Testament, especially those who, like Irenaeus, learned to interpret it at the feet of men who learned from the actual Apostles of Jesus. Then you'll know what "Biblical Christianity" is.
@Morne71111609@EsqJersey@Dr_TheHistories Look at who formed and finalized the canon of scripture (ie, which books were included). It’s the Catholic Church. Dig deeper: look at how they worshipped and understood their faith and you won’t see anything like what you think is “biblical.”
@mukund How did that fraud case work out for you? I guess you think shorting great companies and seeding social media with bs rumors is a great alternative career option. Think again.
@smith_john59964@CapexAndChill The irony is that Palantir is designed with an irradicable audit trail which makes impossible to illegally spy on the American people without getting caught. This is why the NSA was always so resistant to Palantir.
But that’s in the real world
@StockSavvyShay I haven’t seen this many folks confidently trash talking Palantir since it crashed to $6. And I’m going to do the same thing I did then.
@TakhtiSwe@ConceptualJames I’ve noticed how people who don’t want to engage well reasoned arguments dismiss the authors as “fans” of someone they feel entitled (mostly because the group they identify with embraces them warmly for such gestures) to call idiotic.
