@SubduedRadical@justinseans@RealWarnerus Ah yes, the party that got 1 in 10 votes, the party with the 4th most votes and only got more than two other parties that got seats. Other countries have far right parties, but the main right options are far more centrist to even left leaning. Canada has the PPC but the CPC is
@SubduedRadical@justinseans@RealWarnerus Centrist by Western European, Canadian, New Zealand, China, all the communist countries standards… who exactly are you comparing yourselves to? (Canadian here)
@Bradurs33616382@RpsAgainstTrump Oscar continues to dream of a day that the democratic socialists actually gain any form of power, because then things may actually change. In the meantime he’s stuck living under the rule of democrats and republicans. He hopes that one day his fellow countrymen start thinking.
@RISOTM@Pete62075659601@RealWarnerus Well… over 70% of your country supports it so take it up with them. Some things transcend political parties because they become too popular to ignore. Most people have realized it’s silly to dictate who you can spend your life with on paper. Dems started the work in the 70s
@RISOTM@Pete62075659601@RealWarnerus When well over 70% of the population supports something it’s not even a left or right thing anymore… it’s just political suicide not to support it. Dems since the Dixiecrats left have been united in expanding freedoms and equality for minorities and those discriminated against.
@DineshDSouza It’s almost as if disrupting the global supply chain can have a negative effect, but it’s not as easy to force a positive effect short of subsidization…
@RISOTM@Pete62075659601@RealWarnerus It was legalized under Obama, even if he was against it before. Biden also spoke out against it before he was president or vice-president. The democratic support was still there prior to them coming around though.
@RISOTM@Pete62075659601@RealWarnerus The push started largely by democrats started in the 70s. It wasn’t legalized until 2015, but a massive push for it started by the democrats in the early 2000s. It may only have been legal for 11 years, but the democratic support has been there.
@RISOTM@Pete62075659601@RealWarnerus The push for legalized gay marriage is kind of the next logical step after the civil rights movement anyways. Short of the Dixiecrats which shortly afterwards turned to the Republican Party was widely supported by democrats. The leap to gay marriage wasn’t a new or radical thing.
@ManusD83933@Roli52231@CreamyTigers@RealWarnerus You know what, 5% was a gross overestimate. The most radical elected officials are Bernie and AOC, and what you described is leagues beyond even them… even straight communism doesn’t work like that and no dem is a straight communist.
@RISOTM@Pete62075659601@RealWarnerus Ah yes, the party of personal freedoms turning to legalization of gay marriage as an example of how radical and extremist the left has become 🤦♂️ go back to the Stone Age… I’m pretty sure even most of the GOP wouldn’t support making gay marriage illegal today. 🤡
@Soron16@RealWarnerus Just because they don’t align with your political views doesn’t make them extremists… if you don’t compare to global politics, what are you comparing them to? Your vibe? There is much more left beyond what they represent, they’re pretty centrist.
@Pete62075659601@RealWarnerus How did you arrive to that conclusion? Look at the policies they’ve pushed when in power, they’ve barely changed since the Clinton era. Oh no they funded infrastructure!! The commies are taking over… meanwhile Trump has completely overturned the Republican Party from what it was
