Draymond Green on people acting like Bam is some bum who ‘randomly’ scored 83:
“I hate how people trying to act like Bam had this random performance like some bum. May I remind you Bam is a 3x All Star, 2x Olympic Gold medalist, 1st team all defense. The Miami Heat made a decision to move on from Jimmy Butler who’s great and build around Bam. Let’s stop acting like some Bum went and did something crazy. This is Bam Adebayo are yall kidding me? I can’t believe it’s been this much fuss about Bam getting 83 like he cheated or something. F*ck outta here. Congratulations Bam. That was fire. Shout out to Coach Spo. That was fire!”

Got Kawhi KD Bron and Giannis praising him. Got Michael Jordan texting him. Got career role players, Publix bag boys and failed media members slandering him. Yall tell me which one holds more weight
James Harden had 60 PTS in 3 quarters before Mike D’Antoni benched him, and has never come close to that total since.
When you are on a heater like this, you HAVE to play the entire game. You’ll never have a window this good ever again.
I'm seeing a lot of this and it's driving me kind of crazy. Someone just scored 83 points in an NBA game! Who cares how it happened? If you could BS your way to 83 someone else would've done it. Nobody's out here saying Bam is better than Kobe. Just let the cool thing happen.
In Wilt's 100 game, Philly was letting NYK score quickly in the 4Q so they could get the ball back and feed the big man.
Kobe took 13 of LA's 17 FGA - and all 13 of their FTA - in the 4Q to get to 81.
No one's ever scored 70+ "ethically". What Bam did is insane and joyous.
This is how UNFAIR the Terry Rozier situation is to the Miami Heat:
- The NBA and Hornets knew Terry Rozier was under investigation
- Heat was unaware of any suspicious investigation involving Rozier
- NBA felt no obligation to tell the Heat and other teams to not trade for Rozier
Adam Silver couldn’t even give Miami their first round pick back, pathetic.
This is awesome: The Florida Senate has passed the Teddy Bridgewater Act, allowing high school coaches to use up to $15k of their own funds to support student-athletes.
The bill allows middle and high school coaches to use up to $15k of their own funds to support student-athletes with food, transportation, and recovery services.
Teddy has changed the world for the better 👏
Giannis says he wants to win a championship with the Bucks but if that’s not on the table he could ‘pivot’:
"The most important thing I want is to win a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks. And if that's not on the table or in the plans, that's when you kind of like okay maybe I got to pivot because I really want to win.”

All the people who were hating on Bad Bunny got CLOWNED tonight… this Halftime Show was excellent… instead of making it all about himself, he let Lady Gaga have her moment, he let Ricky Martin have his moment, all the supporting dancers… the camerawork was SUPERB… this was very inventive and very team-oriented instead of selfish
Miami’s front office is just outdated. Doing nothing at the deadline is disappointing. If it’s about chasing whales, why not sell high on players for assets?
They care more about the Play-In and selling tickets more than making moves that will actually help them in the future.
Last thing I’ll say on the Heat subject. We all know Pat Riley has been a staple for 30 years, Heat Culture is definitely a real thing. We know what he’s done. However, it is 100% right for Heat fans to question this front office. What Pat did in the 90’s or 2003 was great! But you can’t tell this fan base things are coming and consistently do nothing for 6 years, asset movement wise, for the better. It’s completely ok for Heat fans to be pissed and question Riley, THIS IS A BUSINESS AND HE ISNT DOING HIS JOB. I’m sorry 2023 was amazing but this is 2026
Yeah, the Heat very easily could've acquired 6 tradeable 1sts in 6 years. If they really planned for this (they didnt), Giannis is on the Heat today. Just overwhelming arrogance and incompetence because they won A DECADE AGO
The Heat being one of just 3 teams to stand pat at the deadline is disappointing. Not simply because you have to make a move for the sake of it… but because you have to pick a direction. All-in or asset play.
Miami chose neither.
So if the goal really is to compete and win with this roster, you have to lean into availability + impact on winning. Prioritize the guys who truly impact the game.
The FO chose continuity. Fine. But that comes with consequences. Now you maximize what you have.
This offseason is make-or-break for the core — especially Bam, who wants to win at the highest level. If nothing materially changes, it wouldn’t be shocking if he eventually asks out. That’s the reality of choosing to stay in the middle.

How do the Heat sell themselves to the fans?
They are happy with the Play-In/Playoffs. They will never tank even tho their franchise GOAT was a top-5 pick.
This is depressing. They don’t care about the fans.
Legendary: Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey has one of the best stories in all of sports.
He was a 1st-round pick in the MLS Draft, but his soccer career stalled. So he walked away and used his software engineering degree to start working in tech.
One night, while watching the NFL with his wife, a kicker missed a field goal....
She told him, “You can make that kick.”
So he tried.
Aubrey spent years working as an engineer by day and learning how to kick at night — teaching himself from scratch.
He eventually earned a tryout, won a starting job in the USFL, and became a national story for his huge leg.
The Cowboys signed him.
Now he’s the best kicker in the NFL and well on his way to being the greatest kicker of all time.
From software engineer to NFL superstar.
One of the best stories in sports.
I am genuinely in disbelief man. You’re depriving arguably the greatest player to ever wear your jersey a retirement tour for nothing. The season is already cooked. At least give the fans the ability to watch a player they grew up watching’s last minutes in the NBA and give one of the greatest players to ever walk this earth his flowers on the way out. How are you supposed to try and retire Chris’ number after you took away his retirement tour? Why should anyone ever sign with and try to build a legacy with the Clippers again? You just informed to the whole world you don’t care about your franchise legends.
One of the worst things I’v ever seen a franchise do, and it just so happens to be one of the franchises that genuinely hasn’t accomplished anything. The only reason the Clippers are relevant today is because of the man they just cut. I’m sick. As a Clippers fan, you should be disgusted.
