@HSTIKKYTOKKY4 Your greatest legacy will be your ability to exploit children and other vulnerable people.
Judging from your tantrums, I don't think you can live with that.
Funny how we've gone circle with Starfield.
Next update rumoured to be a huge 2.0 overhaul that will drastically change your outlook.
Todd coming out saying its definitely not that but is good for fans.
Composer saying its revolutionary and we just aren't ready for it.
Starfield's composer says the game will become 'legendary', Todd Howard's a 'visionary', and maybe you 'were just not ready for it' https://t.co/hGv9MmfJbs
@pcgamer Starfield seems like a game where the Devs are convinced the smallest things should have the biggest impacts. But no, they're just... small. Not necessarily awful, but mostly lackluster. And their confusion on that is a bit.. worrying for the future.
@eurogamer Such a bizarre disconnect between the people who made this game and many consumers of it.
So much of this game felt dated when it released. Thats not being ahead of the curve. And I say this as someone who's favourite games ever, are Fallout 4, Skyrim and Oblivion Remastered.
@gotrice2024 At least it sounds like Mum is disagreeing. Safe space is a term that's thrown around an awful lot in a derisive manner, but its fundamental to maintaining healthy relationships. This scare-mongering tactic, even for a joke, isn't the best way to do it. Why do fathers do this?
@DMTool1@CtrlAltDelrith@AKLiveOnX Its always very tragic to see people's hard work thrown to the wolves. Its also sad when people are made redundant.
But if consumers see that as a reason to never ask for better, then we'd have to accept anything. He's not obligated to endorse it.
@AKLiveOnX@CtrlAltDelrith Its okay if its as simple as "game is game" for you. You're entitled to that.
Just as others are entitled to choose to not buy or endorse a game on moral grounds π€·ββοΈ
@HolyLlamaJesus@CtrlAltDelrith Again, I think a part of the marketing process is always about setting the bar higher and with it, player expectations. They want you to see it as more than it is, as that gets people hyped. But they want to do it to the degree that they don't come off as outright lying.
@HolyLlamaJesus@CtrlAltDelrith Its a stretch granted, but one could make the argument that the game marketed as an exploration-first experience, was misleading given how so many people felt said exploration was underwhelming.
@HolyLlamaJesus@CtrlAltDelrith I do think a part of it is people associating Todd with the company so all the very obvious, highly numerous issues 76 had, are attributed to him. And to the product simply not being what was expected, in terms of quality.
And yeah, some scummy, underhanded things happened too.
@HolyLlamaJesus@CtrlAltDelrith Do you know if it was Todd that also said they'd only ever sell cosmetic stuff in their MTX store? Because they absolutely went back on that promise. And that was super scummy.
@figuresfan@namacomoon How about a fourth option? π Don't laugh, just tell the kid they did great, were very brave and ask if they're okay?
And as I said, I'm well aware how the laugh could be meant in some way as empathetic, but it could also be taken as mockery. A more direct expression is kinder.
@kalaelizabeth Its my favourite Fallout game and one of my two most favourite games of all time, other being Skyrim. Revisit it often, I'm playing it daily currently. 400+ mods. Rookie numbers for some though! π
Its not perfect, but what is really? I find it so so replayable! Comfort gameππ
@TKsMantis I'd say it's an incredibly *awkward* reskin too; look at how little animation there is around the head and neck as it walks and attacks. Doesn't look super convincing to me.
It's got the telltale issues reskins have; eyes look dead and expression too blank, vacant and stiff.
