@KKoolyk @TSmith1867 We use floating pumps run 2 hop skipping from puddle to puddle, use quad and trailer. Get in field way before tractor can and before much has soaked into ground under low spot you can be seeding weeks before a tractor ran sprinkler and no need for cleaning up mess tractor makes.

@AllamFarmer Me too, our 4440 has worked 50-75% of the days of the year since it was bought in 80’s well over 30,000 hrs on it. needs engine job this summer which we’ll gladly give it to her.

@SWATMAPS_Trevor @CropProCory Rough guess 8-10$/ acre for upfront set up then 3$/ acre. Once proven worthwhile it is doable if spread out over a few years or after a good year. Didn’t spend extra to be VR capable, it was most cost effective equipment at purchase, capability is side benefit. 1/

@fredweisg @tpotwilson You certainly have a point when harvesting a average to good crop, I think the consistent advantage shows on a year like this when the crop is so short. Next year we will need all the snow we can trap.
